Dr. Carter was an absolute blessing to me. I had been jerked around, lied to, and sold any and everything by 3 different doctors at two different locations -- from X-rays on irrelevant areas, orthopedic inserts, PT for this/that, multiple injections (two out of pocket, both $500+), MRI & MRI +contrast, addendums, and being flat out told nothing was wrong or needed to be fixed. Dr Carter reviewed everything I brought with me and discovered on my initial visit what in fact was wrong and had me scheduled for surgery within roughly a month! He (and his PA, Leslie) are very knowledgable, very considerate, and so understanding! I could not be more grateful that they took me on as a patient with what I had been through.

Dr Carter has been excellent throughout my care. I’ve seen him for multiple problems related to a genetic syndrome. He’s operated on me several times and I’m in the process of scheduling another. I’ve had a great experience with Dr Carter as my surgeon.

Dr. Carter did a total knee replacement for me March of 2017. I am having the second knee replaced by Dr. Carter June 2018. I highly recommend him - he explains everything before surgery and after surgery. Very caring, very gentle, wonderful bedside manner. I cannot say enough good comments about him. He is caring, gentle and understands a patients pain.

This doctor is the worst. Two months after surgery and my knee is worse than it ever was prior to him cutting on it. I have never seen or heard from this doctor since my surgery. I have never met a doctor that cares less about patients than this guy. They left me sitting in the waiting room for an hour to see a PA after my surgery. Pathetic....Norton's should be ashamed of this guy. Maybe he gets 95% correct but if it is your health...BEWARE of this guy.

He listens to you, spends the time it takes to help you understand. This was my second surgery with Dr.Carter and if ( or more likely when) I need more work done I will return! Great service from his staff and he and my rehab talked and kept me on track through a long recovery. I would recommend him highly!

I had knee surgery 5 weeks ago and I can already straighten my leg completely straight. I am walking pretty good now. Done away with my walker in 10 days and took no more pain pills after two weeks. I only needed one-half my knee fixed and I am very happy with the results

My husband and I are seeing DR. Carter for my husband's MCL ACL and meniscus tear. Surgery is set in April. So far we couldn't be more happy with the information and care we have received from him as well as his staff.
