I was taken to the emergency room after I had fallen and hit my head on the floor. I had a small cut above my right eye. After they had glued it together I was admitted to the hospital. I had a CT scan and it showed some old blood and some new blood on my brain. Dr. Carter ordered another Ct for the next morning. It was better and I was released from the hospital. He also reviewed my medication and he determined that I should not be taking one of them. He called me primary doctor and told her I needed to get off of them but I needed to be gradually taken off of them. He also called a neurosurgeon in Shreveport and made me an appointment for a follow up appointment. I came back to Bossier City that afternoon. I’m 79 years old and this was absolutely the best hospital visit I have ever had. All of the doctors and nurses were extremely good and I felt like they cared. I’m doing fine now and feeling much better since I no longer take the medication he warned me about.
