my review of this Dr after my back surgery
Dr Jorgenson actually listened to my complaints, when other, higher rated doctors acted horrible to me. I was in excruciating pain, and others were really heartless. I had some improvement immediately after surgery, but now I have a new pain since. At least I can walk now. When other Drs are disrespectful and act like you are faking, and one believes you and helps you, that Dr is a hero. So Jorgenson gets 5 stars. Staff too is awesome so far. Minimal problems comparatively. The only problems are because of how medicine itself is run, universally and not a unique problem to this Dr. Generally, they don't like patient that advocate for themselves, especially ones that dig deep, and I think they think its unnecessary and even a hindrance when people want to know about everything. I only do it because I have had too, and wrong drs in the past have cost me greatly, like being made homeless with my two daughters and loosing my house, all because of a Dr that reversed himself after damaging.

Dr. Jorgenson you should be ashamed of yourself
Dr. Jorgenson treated my mother. Here we are 2 years later, 4 surgeries later. Due to his handy work my mother had to have numerous Surgeries. This man didn’t even have the audacity to call my father after the surgeries to let him know how they went! Just left us out to dry! You are a terrible Dr.

I just had a neck fusion of C4-6. I don't remember the whole clinical name for it. I read some bad reviews on here and I just want to say my experience has been fantastic. Great attention leading up to the operation, excellent communication from the Spine Institute of Idaho. My visits with Dr. Jorgenson and his PA Sari have been terrific. I have had many injuries and illnesses in my life and have much experience, both good and bad, with medical providers. I can honestly say this has been one of the best experiences I have had. The operation and the issues were clearly explained. We discussed options at length. After the operation the follow-up has been excellent. After each appointment I receive a summary email that goes over all that we talked about. I have read some reviews on here about Dr Jorgenson being arrogant or distant. That has not been my experience, but I would like to say that I prefer a surgeon who has confidence. Overall, just a great experience.

Absolutely Awful. This man was so rude, arrogant, had ZERO empathy. Luckily I know better than to let somebody who is so comfortable treating me like that to my face and in front of my family cut on me when no one who cares is around. Yikes! I audio recorded the entire meeting with him, let him know he was rude and had poor bedside manner and would be d cloning his services. I then left the appointment immediately. He went on to attempt to terminate my ongoing Care at the clinic. physical therapy, pain management, injections etc. both lucky and unlucky for me my scans are just awful and actually warranted some level of sympathy from a few other surgeons who are willing to step in but I strongly urge anybody to feel comfortable in demanding at least base level respect and TRUSTING those that wield a scalpel in the name of your future. After seeing “DR.“J rating here and 2 other sites I do feel better that I am not alone and in Fact not the exception rather than the rule w/ “DR” J.

Dr Jorgenson was a long awaited visit for me as I have been a patient of Spine Inst. Meridian for almost 2 years managing my back injury, AVOIDING surgery. Finally, my pain and scans got bad enough my doctor said I should consider surgery. I scheduled and met the only surgeon at this clinic. I showed up so nervous but I knew what I had and what I needed. Almost immediately The Dr made me feel like I was an imposition and barely greeted me. He immediately reviewed my scans in silence for about 5mins and when I spoke he shot dahgers at me and asked, “would you like me to review these?” Whilst pointing at screen. I wanted to say, “ not here! You should have reviewed them AND come up with a plan or advice BEFORE I arrived like all others I have seen regarding this!” I didn’t. He the went on to “explain” to me the issue. I asked a ?. He sneered and said “save the ?’s til the end” He the. Carried on telling me what his colleagues already have. He was crazy rude and has zero empathy. Very bad

I had severe "pinching" pain in my lower back and found out that I no longer had any disc left, I was bone on bone. Dr. Jorgenson and his awesome assistant, Sari, were incredible. I had fusion surgery and it was life-changing! They gave me my life back and I am forever grateful to them!

Only met with him 1 time prior to surgery. Saw him for less than a min. day of surgery and again for release. I am still in pain and have numbness in arms and hands as well as now I have Horner's Syndrome due to an error in surgery. The entire right side of my head and face including pupil is partially paralyzed. My right vocal cord is 100% paralyzed and I have to have plastic surgery to correct it so I can have a voice again. I Do Not recommend and I will never go there again. with seeing other reviews I am astonished they are still allowed to practice.

Dr. Jorgensen and Siri his assistant have left me with more issues than I started with. I had spinal fusion surgery L5/S1 the original complaints were bilateral sciatica and back pain. Now I am trying to find out why someone would tell you they would provide at home PT that never happened. I can only say at this point is severe caution should be used when choosing the spine institute of Idaho. I would not recommend ever.

Dr J and his PA Sari tried to take care of my spinal stenosis. I had 2 steroid shots which didn't work and then I was scheduled for a fusion of my lumbar spine. Even though I was working with the Spine Institute for months to treat this leg pain, I feel like I never got to discuss my care with a doctor. In this case, Dr J. At this point I still have leg pain and am trying to find another spine surgeon to discuss my spinal stenosis.

Dr. Jorgenson didn't listen or try to understand my condition, he was no help. I waited 45 minutes in a room before he came in, he was in a rush, spent less than 5 minutes with me. Total waste of my time. I'm Seeking help from another Dr.

Phenomenal. Removed hardware from my lumbar spine (S-I joint). Outpatient surgery. Surgery was at 7am. That same afternoon I was enjoying lunch on a downtown patio. No need for post-op pain meds. Thank you!
