I was traveling from KC to Estes Park when I began to have an eye flare. I have suffered from iritis and uveitis in the past due to an autoimmune condition. My ophthalmologist recommended that I see an ophthalmologist in CO urgently. With it being almost 3pm on a Friday I was extremely nervous that I would be unable to see a specialist since I was not a patient. I called multiple ophthalmologists in Boulder and I was so thankful the front desk (I cannot remember her name) was able to get me in with Dr. Long. Dr. Long was very thorough and provided me with medication and the number of the on call doctor in case I had further issues over the weekend (thankfully I didn't). I'm so thankful they were able to see me on such short notice and ease my anxiety while traveling from out of town. Thank you to Dr. Long and the rest of the staff!

Excellent surgical experience!
I recently had a wonderful cataract surgery experience with Dr. Long. My experience was flawless: from the pre-op appointment, the surgery itself and my post op appointments. Dr. Long has a gift for explaining everything and spending time during his appointments to convey his knowledge and care. Thank you, Dr. Long, for my 20/20 vision!

Damaged my eye (iris)
During uncomplicated cataract surgery, Dr. Long cut into my iris meaning light going into my eye is no longer controlled. Driving at either day or night is no longer possible. Another surgeon (at CU) now says the damage is so bad it probably can't be repaired .

Simply the Best
Dr. Long changed my life for the better. He's one of the best communicators I've ever met in the world of medicine. He's charming, extremely intelligent, compassionate. and he knows his stuff. I thought my world had gone gray and blurry forever. Dr. Long made the world clear and bright for me again. A world of thanks! Highly recommended!
