Dr. Samuel Scroggins, DMD

Kiddo needed a few simple extractions, but requires medicaiton prior to for a medical condition. He completely ignored her and my desire for an IM route to be used and used an IV despite telling him they did not do well with IVs and were aware how the IM felt since they have had it before. He became obviously irritated with my child while attempting the IV and kept talking over me as I tried to calm and talk them through it. Once established, he stated many times how he thought it was overkill to have to give them the medicine the endocrinlogist required. Highly, highly disappointed and as a healthcare professional, I could not believe the blantant disrespect for the patient's wishes and care instructions from a long-time provider.

Dr. Samuel Scroggins and his staff were attentive, professional, and put me at complete ease for my upper molar extraction. The surgery was pain free and quick. I was kept informed throughout the process, which was successful without any complications.

I had three teeth removed and I was sore the first day and second, which is to be expected. Great experience for going to the dentist of all places. No pain on day 3. Assistant Anna was great as well.

He is very kind and knowledgeable , he has performed several implants for me and they are very stable. I recommend him for anyone. His staff is courteous and listens to your concern. Denists are not my favorite people because of the fear. He was careful and made me comfortable. I will always go to him for my dental needs. Rhonda Dortch

Cannot recommend. We had to come up with $800+ for the extraction and then he botched it. I was left with a dry socket, them not taking ANY ownership for ANYTHING and now weeks later, the area is still not healed. We had to go late on numerous bills for what? Trading an abscess for more pain and a hole in my gum? I was given NO verbal instructions other than to take Ibuprofen which if they had read in my paperwork I cannot take. Go somewhere else.

If you are taking your child, this is not the doctor for you. No compassion, no bedside manners. My daughter was scared and instead of reassuring her, he let his irritation be known, raised his voice and acted like a bully. He then remanded her for laughing and threatened to take off the laughing gas. Not happy with this experience at all. Would not recommend it. He also started treatment before I actually signed the informed disclosures.

I was very nervous about the procedure because of a bad experience with another oral surgeon. Dr. Scroggins and his staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The procedure went very well . His office staff were also very pleasant and professional. I would highly reccommend Dr. Scroggins and his staff.

Dr Scriggins was very helpful removing an infected tooth that had a root canal years ago. All this chemo hasn’t helped my teeth along with a very low immune system from a chronic disease. The infection was causing more serious symptoms . Dr Scroggins and his staff were very kind and provided an uplifting atmosphere. My tooth was removed, and healed well. Grateful for the compassionate care I received at this office. He even didn’t charge me for the full X-ray scan.

He was referred to me by a dentist friend of his. The dental office told me they were going to send the X-rays to his office. I explained that to them and they did nothing about it. All the staff surround me at the office after I had my surgery demanding that I make a payment to them, when my insurance says I don't pay until after the bill has been submitted. They were like sharks in the office. I would never go back to them unless I have to.
