I've given this much thought, since my last appointment with Dr. Seltzer, which was on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Dr. Seltzer did an outstanding job medically for my cateracts and another procedure to reduce the pressure in my eyes. He leaves a lot to be desired in terms of human respect and dignity. He speaks down to you and is extremely arrogant. He seems to have a god complex. This was my last straw in seeking out medical care from him and leaving feeling totally belittled and bullied. He needs to learn to respect his patients and staff!!!

Dr Seltzer explained everything to me completely and discussed the pros and cons of the different types of lenses and procedures as I was not a cut and dried case. His work is excellent and he is a true professional. I would recommend him to anyone and take my family there. He credentials are excellent. If you want your hand held and all the warm and fuzzies, go to another doctor. But if you want your eyes done correctly, go see Dr Seltzer !

Dr. Seltzer was very patient and caring. He diagnosed the problem very quickly, and explained in detail. His staff was also very knowledgeable and very helpful, explaining my prescriptions. I also received a hug before I left. Great place.

Dr. Seltzer is an outstanding Ophthalmologist. He is very professional and very serious about helping to improve your vision. He waste no time in getting down to business and afterwards will ask if you have any questions or concerns. I have trusted his expertise for many years and will continue to do so. I highly recommend Dr. Seltzer and have actually recommended him to several friends.

Dr. Seltzer was professional and completely honest concerning complications. He was respectful and courteous and suggested I visit his office in Florence in 6 months for a more complete and though evaluation with his state of the art equipment which was lacking in Loris.

I saw Dr. Seltzer on 4 different visits. He managed to talk down to me on each visit. I left each visit feeling like I had been put down. He addresses his staff in the same manner. He has no bed-side manners. He talks down to everyone. It is sad that we pay for Insurance to pay a Doctor who treats his patients with no respect for their feelings. If you talk to him and look away ,he will talk to you like you are a child. I will never see him again nor recommend him to anyone . Worst doctor ever.
