She is knowledgeable but is lacking in bedside manners. A large part of an individual's health is connected to the stresses of life. It would be helpful if she showed more understanding of that when meeting and discussing successful planning.

Excellent care. Only the patient portal does not give me any test results or Doctors notes or any imaging results. It would be wonderful if you could include there's items on the patient portal. Thank you so much for all your care. Sister Silouane

I would not recommend seeing this doctor if you want someone that can think outside the box. I explained to her that I was having difficulty with mood instability and it correlated directly with my menstrual cycles. I was referred to her by my PCP .Dr Sakiani was at a loss as to why I was there. She admitted she had no information on me, acted like I was wasting my time and hers and flat out refused to acknowledge there could be any hormonal imbalance because I had “regular periods” and didn’t have major symptoms . I explained to her what my symptoms were and those were dismissed . She outright refused to test my hormone levels when asked and responded with “how can I explain this to you short of going to medical school?” !!! Don’t see her if you want someone who has more than just a textbook allopathic approach to things. She at one point said “We typically just prescribe birth control” which confused me, why that would even be offered as an option without testing? steer clear!

Today picked my records up from Dr. Sakiani Sanaz office. I am going to go a new competent Doctor. She has failed to give me my results twice now. I waited for weeks to find out my TSH levels (thyroid) and turns out the levels are high and she did not communicate that to me!

I only saw Dr. Sakiani for a short time before she went on maternity leave and relocated. I miss Her! The best endocrinologist I've seen out of many. She's caring and takes time with her patients. I highly recommend her.

she is a nice person but her math and mine don't match and she asks you to do some simple minded things and she needs to work on her sense of humor some ,However she did do my elderly sister well and for that i am grateful she just wasn't good for me and i am not worried about her response as she will screw that up.
