Wrote Me Off
I was in the hospital as a newly diagnosed PanCan patient. I had a biliary stent inserted and a series of biopsies and three days later I was septic. INATTENTIVE... she was a poor listener and inserted her uninformed opinion at every turn. I would try to correct her and she would leave the room. INSENSITIVE... My wife would ask questions about my new situation and she would deflect or not answer at all. INCOMPETENT... I put on 20 plus pounds of fluid in one week while at the hospital. She never once had me weighed, she prescribed no medication or treatments. She released me while still septic and without addressing my fluid retention. She did give me opioids.RUDE... when I complained I was in severe pain and could not eat (due to the fluid retention), she responded as if to shut me down with 'I'm not going to sugar coat this for you. PanCan is painful.'After 9 days at MD Anderson, I was sepsis-free with no fluid retention. 18 months later, I'm alive and pain-free.

I can not believe how attentive and passionate Dr. Siran was during my COVID treatment. I was so nervous and weak, and asking so many questions, she was so kind and patiently answering all my questions. Because of her top clinical skills and knowledge I was able to recover in 4 days.Thank you Dr Siran!

Extremely unfriendly and unprofessional!!
Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor! She is extremely RUDE, unprofessional, doesn't listen, and it is clear she does not care about her patients. She told me I'm not a doctor and I dont know what I'm talking about when I tried explaining about my mother. She would not listen to a word I said and in fact constantly cut me off and never let me finish explaining. She has awful bedside manner and walked out of the room in the middle of a conversation and sarcastically spoke to the nurse about me as if I wasnt there. This is behavior I would expect from a teenager. I also truly question her ability as a doctor as all she did was come in the room and say you're fine because your vitals say so. There's more to being a doctor than looking at a monitor with heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen, etc. It does not come as a surprise to see the extremely low rating this woman has after 2 interactions with her for a total of 5 minutes. Her resident is a much better provider than her!

Mirroring other patients: rude, insensitive, unprofessional. She told me I was being discharged and that I could get the MRI I was SCHEDULED for as an outpatient. The neurologist had some things to say about that. Apparently this is very common with her to give incorrect information and be absolutely callous, which means the staff around her have to work harder to correct her errors. I get the feeling she is very much about money and prestige, not about treating patients and solutions.

Terrible bedside manner. You can tell she doesn’t care about her patients. Rude and insensitive. Need to go back to school for more knowledge and how to treat patients with care and respect.
