Dr. Sandeep Johar, DO

I’ve had injections 3 different times by 3 different doctors and they were awful, the last time the needle got stuck in my back because he hit the nerve I believe. Today I had injections with Dr. Johar for the first time and I had very very little discomfort for a second or two at minimum times, I couldn’t believe how different today was. I recommend Dr. Johar fully.

We did not agree on medication doses so my pain was not well managed.

Dr Johar is knowledgeable, professional, and thorough in his diagnoses. I first went to him for a pinched nerve in my neck. He analyzed the problem and took steps to first test if a nerve block would help. The first and second tests were good. He then did an ablation, and I am pain free. Then we tackled a pinched nerve in my back which caused pain in my back, down my leg and caused neuropathy in my right foot. I had suffered with the foot pain for almost 2 years and had tried everything. My podiatrist said it was from my back. Dr. Johar gave me an epidural and the pain was relieved and my foot was back to normal. I am grateful to Dr. Johar for his expertise and gentle spirit in dealing with my pain. I recommend him highly.

I have been in pain for many years and I finally have hope that things may get better. Dr. Johar was very calming during procedures and listens. He , Dr. Doiron and the staff are all wonderful. I'm not getting a brush off, something is finally being done.

Dr Johar does well in doing procedures that involve placing cortisone shots in the back.I don’t think he listened to me about my chronic pain. I eventually moved to a different pain doctor, Dr Maccanuco, who was much better at controlling my pain level. I think Dr Johar does better treating men over women.

Both Dr Johar and Cliff worked with me to get to the source of my pain and got me back on my feet.They were both a tremendous help.

Excellent doctor, answers all questions. Very compassionate with a wonderful bedside manner. Highly recommended.

Dr. Johar made my lower back pain free with ablations and steriod injections. Professional. Great Office staff, and a shout out to P.A. Cliff. P.A. Cliff definitely assisted me in figuring out my pain.

On 1/9/2022 I was seen by Dr Johar for a spinal epidural. His office accommodated me in a timely matter due to my level of pain. They were actually sympathetic...sadly, not seen everywhere theses days. I could not be more pleased with professional level of treatment that ensued the day of my appointment. Both Dr J and his clinical staff were terrific in explaining what was about to happen and what I should expect afterward. The procedure was performed quickly and without issues. My pain was immediately relieved from the Marcaine (A Local anesthetic) and a few days later when the steroids kicked in...I continued to get better each and every day. I am fine today and know I am only a phone call away from Doc's skilled and compassionate hands. Hopefully they wont be needed by me.

I had been in pain with lumbar spine issues for more than a year....with no appreciable relief from other treatments. I was referred to Dr. Johar. After the nearly painless injection in my spine, I experienced 95-100% relief from pain almost immediately. I found him personable and compassionate and a highly skilled practitioner. I don’t leave reviews usually, I didn’t Dr Johar‘s case I just wanted other people to know that if you don’t want to take medication for the rest of your life his treatments may be the way to go for you! I was in pain for over 10 years with my neck went to see multiple doctors multiple physical therapy and massive amounts of pain medication throughout the years! Within the last year I’ve been seeing Dr Johar with injections to the neck and then black and then a Blasian injections! And my quality of life has increased about 50% and the pain level is down about 80%! Bedside manner may not be the best but let me tell you our actions speak louder than words this man knows his stuff and he does everything he can to get you out of pain! I am so happy with his performance that I am going to let him now do my L5 L4 and L3 with a Blasian and maybe more because of the quality of treatment that he had done For me!

Dr. Johar I highly recommend!! Last September Dr. Johar performed a bi-lateral ablation on my Lumber spine. I was referred to NOSS by a good friend, also my PCP office too recommended NOSS/Dr. Johar. For past twelve years I have been in and out of physical therapy and various spinal treatments, also different procedures to minimize my pain, hence to provide the confidence to maintain a sustainable work ethic and perform my duties as a chef. Many of my fellow colleagues in the culinary field are diagnosed with various spinal problems. Many of my friends in my respective field are no longer capable of employment due to back problems. Well, thanks to Dr. Johar and his pain management team at NOSS I’m 40 plus hours a week!! The bi-lateral ablation provided my livelihood back. Furthermore, I saw Dr. Johar today for my cervical spine. I’m continuing care with Dr. Johar and NOSS. They are a lifesaver. Do not hesitate to contact NOSS!!

Just had a radiofrequency ablation done on my lower back. Dr Johar and his entire staff are knowledgeable very professional in all procedures they have done on me. They put you at ease and explain what they are doing throughout the procedures. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Dr Johar is very compassionate!! I went to him for a Si joint injection my nerves were off the scale. He made me feel safe & comfortable. The day after I was having some back spasms he actually called me back that same day with the same compassion he offered me while I was having the injection. I would definitely recommend Dr Johar to friends and family. Also at this time I would like to add the young lady who brought me into the waiting room before the injection was also very compassionate.

He had me remove my eyeglasses, I could not see & he would not help me to the injection table, & no nurses were available!
