Terrible Experience
Terrible. Made to feel very unimportant as a patient with potential prostate cancer issue. First appt. was 45 minutes late. Second appt. sat in waiting room for an hour (morning apt.) and no one ever called me back. Many other patients came in and got right in. If doctor was 'busy' with other patients, he either overbooks or I'm least important as both appts were almost an hour behind and the one time I actually got to see doc appt. was less than 15 minutes. After waiting an hour for the second appt. with no explanation from staff, went to front desk and was told running behind (again!) and no apology, no care. Told them I had to leave for another appt. and response was okay. Basically, we have too many patients and you are not important. Then the lab work done at the initial appt. was corrupted and received bill. All of this makes me feel very unimportant with a possible prostate cancer diagnosis. Very uncaring and unprofessional clinic. Primary doctor sent me to another urologist whi

“know it all Dr,” without bedside manner
Dr Mistry seemed friendly and knowledgeable until I gave my experience and the symptoms that I had after taking a medication. He then was quick to disagree with my experience and disregarded any further discussion with me and said that I needed surgery! He ended our brief initial visit and he asked no further questions . There are medications that were not tried that could have helped, but Dr Sandeep Mistry went straight to recommending surgery and scheduled it! I will not see this “know it all”, again! He seems strictly motivated by money and the person in front of him is of little value. I left feeling belittled, frustrated, and upset. I won’t see him again.

Decline in service over time
I saw Doctor Mistry several times over the course of the last 7 years. In my first visits he seemed caring and attentive and I got the help I needed (ended up being surgery for vericose seals). When I returned to Dr. Mistry a couple years later, the experience was almost unrecognizable. I was on time for the appointment, but was taken back late. Waited in the room for a solid 30 minutes before Dr. Mistry showed and then it was a super fast, super impersonal visit. No real chance to ask questions and I mainly felt like an inconvenience. This type of treatment appears to have become the standard based on my own experience and other reviews I’m seeing. A pity, as I really appreciated Dr. Mistry for the help he gave me when I first came to him.

Very kind and knowledgeable
My husband and I have seen Dr. Mistry several times as patients. He's always very courteous, engaging and professional. My husband has had kidney stone issues in the past and Dr. Mistry has taken care of them all very quickly, keeping my husband out of pain. Dr. Mistry has also taken care of a lot of our friends and family members for surgeries and prostate cancer. We would recommend him to anyone who needs a urologist.

Dr. Sandeep G. Mistry is an excellent Urologist and above all great Person. I have had several kidney stones and Dr. Mistry has treated me with utmost care and diligence. He has a very calm and positive energy around him which resonates. Dr. Mistry makes stuff happen! I Have a kidney stone right now and He is taking care of it. I am confident that this stone will be out like the last one a year ago. His experience and knowledge in his field is paramount. The sense of urgency is impeccable. Not only is Dr Mistry and great Physician he is also a great Leader of his Team. I have had 6 appointments since I moved to Leander TX in the past years and I have always had a very pleasant experience with all of his office locations, the staff takes the lead from Dr. Mistry and Mrs. Donna Lee THE (Office Manager). I have also been seen by Ms. Leanora Brown, CNS and she is fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable and a genuinely great & caring person. Ms. Diane got me a Stat CT scan in 55 minutes Thanks??

Office visit with Dr. Mistry was canceled and changed to a “tele-medicine” phone call with subordinate staff the evening before my appointment. I lost a day of work for nothing. This was very discourteous and I will not recommend this facility or provider to anyone for that reason.

Attempted to contact Dr. Mistry's office by phone, email, and finally by registered mail about a surprise bill I received. They claim I never was referred to Dr. Mistry and I have proof I was by my own physician. To this day no response from Dr. Mistry's office even after I have proof they received the letter as well. I was not rude in the letter at all. This is how they treat their patients. IF you enjoy Doctors who don't give you the time of day then go to Dr. Mistry. In the door, pay, and see you later! No questions asked. Is this what you call good customer service Dr. Mistry? I just want an answer. Now, Dr. Mistry is sending my bill to collections. Congratulations, we will challenge each other legally Dr. Mistry. Good luck to you.

Horrible customer service – Jul 18, 2020
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Mistry?
He did Urolift surgery, that lasted a week, 2 months later he did a TURP, which lasted a week. He said: fact it last a week shows another TURP would work. I didn't want another, used my insurance enough. He said don't worry about ins they will pay (that turned me off) but he talked me into 3rd surgery - 3 in 7 months. It lasted a week. Finally said your problem not prostate but weak bladder muscles. Wanted to send me to therapist for exercise - why it took 3 surgery to say it's the muscle?

Dr. Mistry has no professional. He came 25 mins late.He was not concerned about my problem. He was just concerned about getting paid.He suggested me surgery without understanding my concerns.I have read other reviews, he will suggest surgery even if it's not required. He left without answering my questions and didn't even told me details about medicines that he prescribed to me.His staff is pathetic and has no knowledge.I was told that fee is $150 but was charged $300 and no bill was given to me.

Dr, Mistry is by far the best doctor I have ever dealt with. He listens, he cares, he waits for you to finish speaking, which is great for me because I have a hearing disability. He has operated on me numerous times. I trust him, and recommend him to anyone who is thinking about getting services that he offers.
