I would not recommend him
He was cold, distant, and didn’t explain anything. Would not see him again.

One of the Best
My last appointment was on January 11, 2024. Dr R has been a member of my care team since July 8, 2020. I came to him during the pandemic as an emergency patient referral after experiencing right eye pain and vision loss. And he has always been professional, kind, empathetic and trustworthy to my eye problems which are degenerative. He explained my diagnosis and future treatment plan, answers my questions and keeps my other care team updated. I started with bi weekly injections immediately and now receive a quarterly injection. He accessed my condition in my first visit and has stopped the bleeding and I very much appreciate the care I have received so far.

Questionable Methods
While under Dr. Randhawa's care, at first I felt I was on the right track with finding a doctor who could help properly diagnose my eye concerns. But after the 5th visit things with downhill pretty fast. He kept giving me steroid eye injections which would wear off after 6 weeks. I did not want the 4th injection but he insisted. He neglected to thoroughly wash out the eye which caused a cornea abrasion according to him. Left me in a lot of pain and I could not see. But instead of taking responsibility for his error, he tried to blame me stating 'You must have rubbed your eye.' Absolutely not true. I also told him before getting the injections that one of the other doctor's in the practice had said he did not recommend eye injections because they could cause eyelid droop. Dr. Randhawa said that was not true, needless to say I now have a droopy right lid. Decided this is not the doctor for me and I will not now or ever return to this practice. High risk, not recommend.

Great Experience
My name is Cheri. I was very scared when I found out that I had Diabetes and it had caused problems in my retinas. Dr. Randhawa has been very kind. He listens to my questions and explains things very well. One eye is doing great! He is still working on the other one which was much worse. He said he will take good care of me if I need surgery. I'm glad he is my doctor!

Dr Randhawa is the absolute best. I do not have words to express my gratitude. He stayed late in the evening to see me on an emergent basis for a detached retina. He performed surgery on my eye and I had a fantastic outcome. He is a highly skilled surgeon. His brilliance combined with his kind demeanor and compassion make him an asset to the profession. My deepest thanks!

Dr. R (that's what I call him) is my favorite doctor. He connects with me not only as a doctor but also as a person. I am glad my general eye doctor picked him as my retina specialist. The retina is very delicate and important for the vision and I am so happy I have the best doctor taking care of mine.

I drive 2 hours every month to get eye injections from Dr. Randhawa because he is the very best! He is very calming and his personal and gentle touch makes the experience very pleasant each time, despite me having to get monthly shots in my eye. I look forward to seeing him everytime.

Dr Randhawa was a Godsend for my retinas which were very badly damaged because of diabetes. Kind, caring, compassionate and very skilled: all in one doctor. He is the reason I am still seeing despite both eyes having severe damage from diabetes. He has surgically fixed retinal detachments in both my eyes and I have very good vision. Cannot thank him enough! I always look forward to seeing him for my follow-ups.

I had been having floaters and decreased vision for a year and other doctors had no idea what was going on. Dr. Randhawa was able to diagnose that I had lymphoma just by looking into my eyes. He got me in touch with an oncologist for chemo treatment. Thanks to Dr Randhawa's expertise I am cancer free now and alive and well.

I was diagnosed with a retinal detachment by my optometrist and was sent to see Dr. Randhawa by my local retina specialist in Saginaw as I am in my teens and the doctor in Saginaw could not fix it. Dr. Randhawa immediately made me feel at ease and I knew everything was going to be fine after I met him. I had surgery and can see very well out of the eye now.
