One of the best
Dr.Kim is one of the best Doctors I have ever met. When he is one on one with you he is very thorough with your chart/results. He listens attentively and provides solid feedback. The clinic he works at is sometimes hard to reach and schedule but that is beyond the Doctors control. I will continue to put my trust in Dr. Kim and highly recommend him for a gastroenterologist.

Waste of time
I waited 2 months, as my last appointment was cancelled, to be seen at the Bellevue gastro clinic. I was scheduled with Dr. Kim and it felt like I just wasted my time and waiting this long for still no answers. He was impatient, and did not perform any kind of analysis aside from asking me questions and wanting the answer I was given by previous doctors. A quick fix answer is not the solution especially when going to see a specialist.

Dr. Kim carefully went over my records, suggested me what to do, and arranged for my ultrasound test; give me useful literature to read. I have seen Dr. Kim for many years. He is always polite, patience. Every visit with him is a pleasant experience!

Horrible service! Dr. Kim is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He provides zero guidance and is lazy, unreliable, incompetent, and rude. I saw him 3 times and still do not know what is wrong with me and he gives rude answers when I ask him questions. I am finding another gastroenterologist! I advise everyone with GI problems stay away from Dr. Kim. I am very disappointed in the service I received from Dr. Kim.

Had my first colonoscopy at WA Gastroenterology in Nov. 2019. The whole process was nerve wracking because of horror story you hear and the prep process could be confusing. However, take your time to make sure you follow the written procedures and ask questions if needed. The 5 stars is for Dr. Kim for his professionalism. He made sure to answer my questions, never rushed me. Afterwards, he came and explained more about the procedure. Overall, I feel confident I’m his expertise.

Dr. Kim recently performed an endoscopy on me. The environment of the Eastside Endoscopy Center is favorable for conduct of the procedure. Anaesthesia was administered efficiently and lasted no more than 2 hours. Dr. Kim performed the endoscopy after a pre-procedure briefing and then reviewed the film/photos with me at the end of the procedure. This was a good procedure experience in a surgical setting. I have always found Dr. Kim to be a highly capable practitioner.

I had absolutely horrible experience with Dr. Kim. He and his team very rude and treating the patients with any respect. The one thing what they are looking for just to make money on you.

Dr. Kim was thorough, asking lots of questions and explaining things carefully. He uses a transcriptionist so he can give full attention to a patient, which is important. I would give him more stars if possible.
