Lifesaver
Dr. Suh has been my psych for about 15 years. After a short inpatient stay, which did NOTHING to help me, someone told me about Dr. Suh. Within 3 days of beginning treatment, I felt SO MUCH BETTER. He has continued to help me to get back to “myself” and perhaps more importantly, stay there. He has taught me so much about self care and management. I truly do feel as if he saved my life from a depression and anxiety so severe that I was stuck and hopeless. He is incredibly intelligent, compassionate, and also has a sense of humor, which I appreciate. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Suh.

Dr. Suh has worked with me with my depression & anxiety & ADHD for the past few years and has helped me cope with and navigate some major life events—in a way that has truly allowed me to see myself clearly (strengths and limitations) so I can meaningfully show up for my life and the lives of those I love. His scientific explanations are along offered with compassion, humor and discernment. His office staff have always been kind and professional and reliable too.

I've been seeing Dr. Suh for over 10 years for anxiety and depression. He is not only a very caring doctor but a brilliant one. I can tell by the way he processes what I'm saying it's like he is scanning a giant catalog in his brain for the best treatment possible before coming to a decision with expertise and care. I trust him more than anyone. He never rushes you and listens very well when you are describing what's going on.

This “dr” only cares about what medicine you aware on and not about the well-being of the patient . When I would enter in for my appointment he would say “OK what are we all now” he couldn’t understand my life he doesn’t have kids he doesn’t have an autistic kid has no real life empathy and sympathy. Stay away from this doctor all he cares about is his well-being his numbers and he flat out lied to me about” our game plan“

This dude is an idiot. Everything started great, but the second I got suicidal, its like he didn't know what to do. He didn't understand why I, being bipolar, was super depressed about being dumped, told me he wanted to medicate me so heavily that I'd be fine if an atomic bomb dropped, and then, in the most uncaring tone I've ever heard, threatened to call the cops on me because I was suicidally depressed. Oh, he also doesn't understand addiction AT ALL. Tried to put me on adderall and xanax.

Dr. Suh treated my teenage daughter for anxiety and depression. He came highly recommended. However, when we would go to appointments he could not remember what medications he had put her on and he had not written them down in her chart. It was very difficult to hear him and understand him. I would ask him to speak up but that did not help. My daughter would communicate with him that the medications weren't helping but he kept her on them. After a few months we found a new psychiatrist.

I had a very tough time getting my bipolar disorder treated by other doctors, ran into a lot of problems. Dr. Suh was able to see me very frequently and took a genuine interest in my health, he even agreed to stay past his normal closing hours to let me come in at the end of the day on short notice. Today, I am completely stable and have had no signs of symptoms in a very long time. After my experiences with Dr. Suh I don't trust anyone else with my mental health. There's some waiting room time.
