Dr. Sang Yim, MD

ZERO stars was not offered, so I reluctantly chose 1. I met Dr. Yim at Riverside Community Hospital as an inpatient after admission through the ER. Dr. Yim was rude, snarky, uncaring and overall the WORST doctor I've EVER encountered. He first said I had a gallbladder attack, and he was going to release me to see a surgeon for gallbladder surgery. He said was releasing me prior to even getting MRCP test results because I wasn't in enough pain to take pain meds and looking too well to be seriously unwell. I questioned him about a mass found in my pancreas and thought a biopsy was warranted, but he said it's not cancer, and to come back in 6 months for a follow-up scan. I left Riverside Community Hospital AMA after 15 days. I went the next day to Loma Linda ER. I was diagnosed Stage 2 pancreatic adenocarcinoma and Stage 4 with metastasis to my liver. Referred to Dr. Yim? Run for your life!
