Saff Is Everything !
Dr. Kimar is very knowledgeable and is a great Doctor but it makes it really hard to want to keep seeing him when your greeted by Rose the receptionist. Dr. Kumar can tell me to let her know one thing when I'm checking out but she will try to pick an argument with you. She thinks she knows clinical and she clearly does not. It really hard to find a good Doctor like Dr. Kumar but your staff should be just as nice as you !

Great Dr, Office Staff has got to go
Myself and my wife been seeing Dr Kumar for years and he has been great and have no issues at all. The office is poorly run by Joanne as it took us nearly 35 min on hold to talk to somebody about health, but wait there is more you will be schedule for an appointment, and they won't even call you back, and then have to reschedule with them again. If your a white person the office staff will give you a hard time, about ready to file a discrimation complant against this place, hopfully they will clean house and get rid of the office manager and all of the front office staff. As for myself and my wife we decided that were going to sadly have to make some changes and will miss him as Kumar is a good doctor

Good Doctor but Unprofessional & Incompetent Staff
I was a patient of Dr Kumar for years and have tolerated his incompetent & rude staff because I received good care from him. I went for my appt in January and was turned away because they said my insurance was inactive. My insurance confirmed that was active & that Dr Kumar was my PCP. After a month of not reaching anyone by phone (voicemail is always full) and sending patient portal messages I decided to go make an appointment in person. That's how I found out he stopped taking my insurance this year. I explained that I now have one week of medication & wont have enough time to get established with a new PCP. I asked why they didn't inform his long time patients, or at the very least, tell me back in January when I was turned away. Of course, they blamed my insurance for not telling me. The truth is, if his staff cant handle calls, voicemails or patient portal messages over 4 weeks, how can I expect them to proactively inform me of this change? It's an actual circus over there.

First time appointment with Dr. Kumar on 3/2/2021 was outstanding. He was professional, personable, and very thorough in his examination and inquiry on present and past health issues; he gave clear and concise answers to my questions; referred me for additional tests which, to my surprise, revealed some health issues that I did not know I had, and thereafter referred me to the appropriate specialists do deal with those problems. Very pleased with Dr. Kumar and his staff who were all very pleasant, efficient, and professional. I have already recommended Dr. Kumar to several friends/family/acquaintances. I highly recommend Dr. Sanjay Kumar.

Watch out for this Dr. He charges for things he shouldn't be charging. They have a sign warning you that if you ask other questions besides your preventive appt, that they would charge office visit. I'm fine with that so I didn't say squat. Well, guess what?! I did get a charge for it. I guess his little questions here and there, that HE asked, was on me. He also keeps prescribing meds I don't need even tho he hasn't seen my lab results yet. Shady and greedy. I've seen him for years and I'm done

Dr.Kumar is one of the best doctors I've ever had & I've had many over my 53 yrs. He continues to treat me to the best of his ability even though medically I am a tough patient. I suffer from a long list of medical problems, some very old & some have just started when I turned 50. His bedside manner I find to be pleasant but I feel he is so rushed to see so many patients he just really can't spend the time he needs to with those of us who are always in need of his medical expertise & plan.

Dr. Kumar is a fantastic physician. He is thorough in both his actions and explanations of them. I would not be at all hesitant to leave a 5-star rating were it not for the fact that the office staff has to be taken into account as well.
