Dr. Sanjeev Bhatia, MD

I arrived 15 minutes early for a 3pm appointment. After 40 minutes (3:40pm) I finally had enough and left after speaking to the front counter. Was told 'his patient times are running behind'. No time in sight for when I'd be seen. Time management is one of the easiest things a person can have. You literally have it from your first day of school till death. His time management is flawed. It appears your time isn't worth his, so he has no worries about wasting yours. If a doctor can't manage the easiest of things, time, what makes you think he can manage your surgery either.

I have had a long road with previous knee injuries and had been having knee pain that was getting worse with my physical job over the last two years. MRI had shown a recent medial and lateral meniscal tear and I had gotten to the point I had tried everything except a cortisone injection or surgery. The first ortho doctor I saw told me to continue what I was doing the last two years, which clearly wasn’t working. This is where Dr. Bhatia came in and actually took the time to listen to my prior knee history and what was continuing to cause me pain. He immediately tried a cortisone injection and when that didn’t work, he performed a medial and lateral meniscal repair. Since surgery, I no longer have any of the pain that I had been dealing with for so long and I feel like I can actually live my life. If you want someone with a high level of knowledge, skill, and who will actually listen to you, I would highly recommend Dr. Bhatia.

Dr Bhatia and his staff are amazing. I just had surgery conducted by Dr. Bhatia and I would recommend him to anyone. He is caring and has a great bedside manor. His PA is also wonderful. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Dr Bhatia and his practice.

Great doctor. I immediately felt comfortable with him. He answered all of my questions, and explained my x-rays clearly to me. He is encouraging as well as letting me know my injury will take time to heal. I like that he prescribed physical therapy right away so my leg would not get weak. Physical therapy gave me the confidence to do more than I thought I should be doing to rehabilitate my fractured patella.

My experience with dr Bhatia was amazing. From start to finish, from office staff to recovery. I’m post op 4 months pain free and I feel like a new person. I can’t say enough !!!! Thank you

Shout out to Dr. Bhatia for his work on my hip! When I came to Dr. Bhatia I was in the worst shape of my life. I could barely walk without feeling sharp pain throughout my right hip. When I went to him, he was not what I expected when I think of surgeons. He came in sat down and talked to us for a long time and answered all of my questions AND my father's too. Before surgery, he wrote out step by step instructions of what was to come after surgery. NOW, four months after surgery, I have no pain!

Dr. Bhatia is an amazing and intelligent physician with a great bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone-Jessica PA is fantastic as well. Those two made my surgical experience the best it could be. When calling into the office I had a big issue with the staff returning my calls or getting my messages/questions to Dr. Bhatia.

Dr. Bhatia is an excellent physician & surgeon. His dedication to his patients clearly shows he is very well respected within his profession. In the past 4 years, my husband & I were treated by Dr. Bhatia for a hip labrum repair & have referred others to his care for hip issues. He spent a generous amount of time properly diagnosising our issues and discussing our surgical options. We were well informed of our next steps in every process of our surgery & recovery. Dr Bhatia is an excellent surgeon. My son had no complications after surgery. He only needed pain meds one day after surgery. He answered all the questions we had and took his time with us in the office. We never felt rushed. We would recommend him to all family and friends who need hip care and aren’t ready for a total joint.

I truly cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Bhatia. From my first appointment to my last he showed such consistent kindness, care and patience. The labrum repair surgery that I had with him was the first surgery that I have ever had. I was nervous through the process but he succeeded in calming my nerves through thorough, careful treatment. I am also extremely pleased with the results of the surgery - my hip feels great! I am so grateful for my experience with Dr. Bhatia and his team.

Excellent Dr. / Patient collaboration. Friendly, bright and talented. Even though he is moving to Chicago, I will consult with him if any hip issues arise in the future.
