POOR SERVICE....MISSED A KIDNEY STONE.
Took 6 weeks to get a report after my visit. No patient portal, horrible communication. Tech took less than 2 minutes to do ultrasound and I doubt he spent more time looking at it. He missed a kidney stone and did not do other tests to rule out crystals or cancer cells! The urologist I now use gave me tons of info. he never even mentioned.

I have seen Dr Vohra for nearly 20 years and he has always been excellent. I had the misfortune of emergency care in Arizona, Illinois, and New Mexico and all of them were meaningfully inferior to the care and understanding of this man.

Dr. Vohra is not a bad doctor by any means. With that being said, there is a lot more that he and his staff could be doing to ensure that his patients are getting better treatment. He often would rush through our appointments, treating me and my case more like a number than another human being. I often had to ask all of the questions and be incredibly thorough because he wouldn't be too clear about my treatment plan or options. The last thing that really bothered me was right before an important surgery of mine, I could hear him making jokes with the other nurses about partying/drinking the day before- right outside of my room. Not exactly something that instills the most amount of confidence in someone who is about to remove a testicle of yours. That being said, the surgery went well, and my recovery has been speedy- I just wish I had found another doctor for this kind of treatment.

Friendly and explains very well, if you ask questions. Willing to discuss treatment and follow-up options with you. If you don't do your part to interact, he'll do his job and move on.

After years of demeaning interactions, I’ve decided to take my urologic issues elsewhere. Very discourteous interactions with patients, I’d rather travel to other areas rather than see Dr. Vorha ever again.

The offices are dirty and old looking. Dr Vorha has no bedside manner, performed unnecessary additional procedures beyond what I was scheduled for & without explanation. When I asked for clarification as to why, I received no answer. Neither the nurse nor the Doctor spoke to me as I dressed and left. I am left with uti & yeast infections that I chose to treat where the staff listen & explain before beginning each step of the procedure. I will not return nor recommend

My previous urologist wanted to do exploratory and invasive biopsies that would have caused new complications. I went to Ithaca Urology for a second opinion. Dr. Vohra diagnosed and confirmed an unusual (and not life-threatening) condition I have, without invasive and unnecessary procedures. My previous urologist when performing cystoscopy caused a lot of pain that lasted a full week. Dr Vohra performed the same procedure with very little discomfort to me.

I was directed to Dr Vohra by my therapist. I was waiting for him in the doctor's room for 50 minutes since the time of my appointment. When he came I told him that if he has no time he could assign the appointment later. " I was busy". I said: "You don't respect time of your patients". He answered "Let's stop the bazaar, I'm here to help you". I said: "You cannot speak in this way, if you'll do so, I will leave". He answered: "Go! I'm a boss here!" Beware of Dr Vohra!
