Gallbladder surgery
Was admitted into TGH Springhill for abdominal pains. Upon have blood work done and some test Dr. Potard came to my room and let me know that i had gall stones and my gallbladder needed to be removed, it was only operating at 30% of what it should had been. While I was under he also took care of a umbilical hernia I had. Both surgeries are doing great. He is a very caring doctor, great surgeon. I would recommend him highly for a surgeon.

Dr. Potdar did surgery on me back in November 2017 and I go to have my three month follow-up and he is not able to see me and they call a day before to cancel stating he is not in my network and even though I have out of network coverage and was willing to pay cash for my follow-up I was told no. This patient feels abandoned by my surgeon! Thanks a lot!! BEWARE OF THIS SURGEON!!!!

Dr. Potdar is an excellent surgeon!. Aside from the fact that he is a great surgeon, he was also very involved in every aspect of my care. He is a friendly and caring doctor and I would definitely recommend him to others.

actions speak louder than words, and this doctor definitely doesn't care. No post op follow up and when you do have questions, you're basically brushed off and told "go to the ER". You sir, are what gives doctors bad names and you disgust me in the way you've handled yourself

My father has stage 4 Kidney cancer that spread to his intestines creating a blockage. This prevented him from eating or drinking for 3 weeks. The attending doctor recommended hospice care. Dr Potdar was the surgeon who examined my father and came to see him everyday. We told Dr Potdar that we were discussing hospice. He said he was not ready to let that happenand asked to conduct one last procedure. It worked. My dad is now able to continue cancer treatment vs hospice. He never gave up. Thanks!

Potdar preformed an inguinal hernia surgery (right groin) and refused to prescribe ANY pain medication after surgery. It is common practice to have strong narcotic pain medicine prescribed after hernia surgery. I am allergic to IV Morphine, but not to any other narcotic pain medicine and have taken such medicine in the past after surgery. I feel that Potdar abandoned his responsibility in caring for me and it is obvious that patient care and comfort was of no concern to him. WARNING Bad Dr!
