I have been going to this office for almost ten years now. Sara was my doctor before but I switched to the another doctor a couple years back because of Sara’s attitude. Today I went to see Sara for a health issue because my doctor had no earlier appointments. Once again the same thing had happened leading me to leave this comment for future patients. It was another appointment where Sara tries to rush you out of the office. Sara continued to shut down anything I tried to say regarding the medical issue. Sara has a direct approach and I get that but this does not work for everyone. I tried to discuss over the past week my medical issue leading up to my visit and Sara continued to shut down what I was saying. Saras response to me was “so what are your symptoms today” then cuts me off again while I’m speaking and continues to say “so what are your symptoms today”. I took time off work to be seen and looked for help from a medical professional. Patients should feel heard not shut down. This experience was awful and really uncomfortable.

Skeptical of Everything for No Reason
I went to her a few times for a few things I wanted to take care of. She doubted everything I told her on the first visit. She spoke to me condescendingly. She left a very bad impression of the sitter network until I switched to Dr Adam’s.

Bad communication
Bad communication, seems to make up her mind before listening to answers to her own questions. Schedules labs sometimes fasting, sometimes not and doesn't let you know. Dismissive of any patient communication that doesn't fit her narrative. Other doctors had to do paperwork or authorizations needed, as she pretty much refuses or is incapable to work with Sutter health plus insurance issues like using covered medications or getting authorization for medications.

She's got bad bedside manor and does not listen well. I have no idea if she orders labs what the directions are. Example of bad communication..... Fasting or non fasting testing seems to randomly change and I have no information on it until I show up. At the lab and they deny me

I had the same experience today as Tracy. Today was my first visit with Dr. Doughtery and as a new patient I expected her to at least sufacely get to know me. She went right to the usual med questions related to my issue and then proceeded to give me her opinions about my health and medication choices. She did not listen to my history or ask about recent issues. Very disappointed by the Sutter Groups choices in family physicians. If I did not absolutely love my OB/GYN I would switch.

She provides a lot of information; however, I find she didn't listen to me. She didn't question why I made certain decisions about my health, rather she just told me her opinion. She also seemed to shoot down my opinions about my own health and what I was going through.
