She was amazing. Our son was diagnosed with kidney cancer & she performed surgery the next day to remove his kidney, the navel orange sized tumor, & lymph nodes. She explained to him & us in detail what the plan was, admitted him to the hospital com that appointment, & then performed the surgery the following morning. That was 28 months ago & he is doing well with follow-ups every 6 months, but so far no more cancer on any of his scans. She saved his life. He was 13 years old at the time.
