Dr. Sara Talken, MD

Currently going through a second pregnancy with Dr. Talken as my OB. My first pregnancy was a little rocky with my son as he tried to come early. Now I’m going through a high risk pregnancy with twins. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my care. I know she not only cares about the health of all my babies but also me as a person. She came to visit me as an inpatient in the hospital on two different occasions not related to labor & delivery. One with my son when I was having stomach issues, & the other this pregnancy with severe dehydration. Seeing her face during those hard times let me know that she was truly there with me through everything. Literally everything, I had my face in a trash can lol. I look forward to all my appointments because I know I’ll leave feeling encouraged on the way out. Thank you Dr. Talken for all you do for your patients!

I love Dr. Talken! I am going on two years seeing her as my OB for two pregnancies. She delivered my daughter in 2020 and will be delivering my son this year in 2021. She is always attentive, thorough, and always validates my concerns. I never feel rushed with her and she takes her time to explain things. I had two high risk pregnancies and she has done a fabulous job of keeping up with everything and making sure I am take care of. In my opinion she is the best doctor at Specialists in Women's Care and I've seen them all there at least once. So grateful that I have her as my doctor and that my babies got/get to be delivered by her!

Was extremely thorough in explaining everything. This was for a teens first visit and she made her feel so comfortable. Great way to begin, what we hope is a lifelong dr/patient relationship.

I LOVED Dr, Talken. I feel like I have finally hears me. I have severe endometriosis, and she has been an angel! Got me started on a new medicine and it has been LIFECHANGING. She hasbeen thorough, compassionate, warm, and just plain wonderful.

I would never recommend Dr. Sara Talken nor the women specialist care in Olathe to anyone. She really doesn't care about her patients. I took my wife to her because of bleeding and she didn't bother to see her until she had a two miscarriages, then she decided to see her and to tell us that it was a second miscarriage, then she told us that she needed another blood test and she would rush the results as soon as second day, but the results came back 4 days later, she also said she would call my wife and follow up with her, but it is 11 days now since she seen her and she never called. We felt like we were discriminated against because of our ethnicity. I had to take my wife to KU university and they went above and beyond that day. I wish I could give Dr. Sara Talken and her clinic less than 1 star feedback, but I have big community and lots of friends, and I will make sure to tell them about that clinic and about Dr. Sara Talken, so they become aware and to choose a better place.
