Dr. Sarah Barber, MD

We’re first time parents, state insurance so we expected the minimum from any dr we found and dr. Barber was the polar opposite of our expectations, there aren’t enough kind words to describe this woman, she’s kind well spoken down to earth, she connected with my wife and I on every level she could, she spent time with us explaining everything we asked about with patients and decorum that far exceeded our expectation this dr. Is a complement to her station and deserves every bit praise we could have for her, i the father am with out my parents and I feel like I just spoke with my mother, the warmth and tough as nails kindness no nonsense attitude that dr barber emulates was a something we missed desperately from every other professional we encountered, I will be singing her praises until my son has a child of his own.

It was by chance that I met Dr. Sarah Barber when I had emergency surgery for an ectopic pregnancy. Something so traumatic somehow had a silver lining. She has been such a blessing to both me and my husband. I had been going to the same ob/gyn since I was a teenager and often I felt like I was pressured to explain any concerns within like 3-5 minutes at most, but I assumed all doctors were the same plus I truly dreaded going to the office. Dr. Barber thoroughly takes time to explain things and answer questions. She has wonderful bedside manner to make even the most uncomfortable patients comforted and less anxious. I cannot recommend her enough. She is truly the best and I am happy to continue to have Dr. Barber as my primary ob/gyn.

Dr.Barber is a phenomenal doctor. I love going to her because her and the nurses are wonderful. My only issue is the front desk people are always very rude and disrespectful to me but the only reason I keep putting up with it is because of how awesome Dr.Barber is. I am very understanding that sometimes you have a bad day but whether it be over the phone or in person the PSRs are always very rude. Don't work in customer service if you don't like working with people. It's hard to find a good OBGYN like Dr. Barber so I won't stop being a patient with her. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Barber, her and her nurses are truly wonderful and caring of their patients.

I went for a consult for a hysterectomy....she was so kind, caring, explained everything in detail, listened to all I asked and I never felt rushed. I will be having my surgery with her and am very confident in her abilities and knowledge. Her staff was also very professional and friendly. I found my new GYN!!!

I understand OBGYNs are always busy with surgeries and last-minute deliveries. Dr. Barber never made me feel like I was too much. She spent extra time with me and even called me during her off time to help me relax during my pregnancy...which was considered high risk. Her office is professional and she's a delight to be around. I have already recommended her to friends and family!

Dr. Barber is amazing!! Best OBGYN I have ever had! Takes the time to talk to you and answers all your questions and concerns. She is very gentle and caring when she does her exams. Very sweet and kind. The office is very clean and professional, I would recommend her to anyone!!

She saved me and my baby! Other doctors were going to send me home bc I was only 32 weeks. My baby wasn't moving a lot my bp was out of control. She did an er c section. She made the right call. The cord was wrapped around my baby's foot. Can't thank her enough. Always kind and friendly and very informative.

Worst experience ever I'm 38 weeks pregnant and was told by her that my visit was a waste of hospital money and not come next time ! First of all I have insurance if I want to go to the emergency room for something on my labia skin tag that popped and did not stop bleeding then I will go . She was also so ruff with my pelvic exam this was 12 hours ago and I'm still in bed laying down cramping ! She didn't even tell me she was going to do one she just did it without telling me !So unprofessiona!
