Avoid her at all costs!!!! Saw her for the first time today at the watsonville hospital wound center where I have been a patient for 7 years. She entered room, said l'm Dr Brant then proceeded to yell at me so loudly the nurse had to close the door. Dr questioned why I didn't do as I was told the week before, why I couldn't tolerate an 'Unna boot' discounted everything I said, then proceeded to debride my wound and left without a another word to me. I left sobbing. Nurse begged me to fill-out a complaint form. I will NEVER go back again! I have NEVER been treated like this EVER in my 70 years including 48 years of teaching high school students.

Excellent Bedside Manner
Dr. Brandt conducted emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. During this process, I appreciated how attentive she was to my concerns and understanding the why. She gave me hope of having a normal life again & her approach to the aftermath of surgery. Being a resident in Santa Cruz, your only options are Dominican or Watsonville Hospital. I enjoyed Watsonville Hospital as the staff was attentive and cared about the patients. I appreciated the ER team taking me in so quickly and helping assist professionally. Thank you Dr. Brandt for helping me through this process hope you're accepting new patients in your future!!
