Dr. Sarah Darbandi, MD

Had an appointment at 9:30. Spent 2 hours with the staff running tests and was then told I had to have a complete eye exam before I could see the Dr. When I refused further testing, I was rudely escorted to the front desk to checkout. Very slow technician who focused on dry eyes instead of why I scheduled the appt. I had just completed a full eye with my Optometrist 2 days earlier and was referred for eye pressure check for Glacoma and medication treatment. All records had been sent earlier for review by this office. The front desk wanted me to leave happy an asked if I wanted to see the Office Manager and the Dr.'s personal assistant. I said yes and after an additional 10 minutes I left without ever seeing the Dr. This office is not interested in treating patients efficiently. Their main goal looks to be selling treatments for dry eyes and running unnecessary costly non-covered tests and procedures. I am finished with Bowden and Associates!

Dr. Daebandi has been so friendly and calm on all my appointments. I came in for an eye injury and follow ups, she explained exactly what is happening and how to treat it and the why.She also let me know about the reason my eyes are dry. Her recommendations for a regime has been life changing. I did not know how bad my dry eyes made me feel and affected my day to day until I started my regimen. It's completely a 180.Because of this experience, I decided to continue to see her to make sure I am doing everything I can to keep my eyes protected and properly lubricated.I also don't mind driving an hr to see her at her other location.

I saw Dr Darbandi recently for plasma pen around my eyes. She is absolutely amazing. From start to end she made me feel comfortable, and did an amazing job. I am a week out and loving the results so far . The best out there!

Asks new and unique questions about my vision, ordered a battery of tests and imaging to determine the cause. Provided answers that eluded other opthalmologists for over 40 years. At the top of her profession with endless positive, glowing reviews. Takes the time to get to root causes. Vastly experienced, having practiced in the nation's leading hospitals, Very pleasant and polite. She is a perfect physician.

Doctor and staff we were great and got me in quickly. I feel more confident after switching to them for my eye visits.

Dr. Darbandi always takes time to explain any procedures and/or results with me, she always makes me feel comfortable and answers any questions or concerns I have with my treatment. All the staff both the Mandarin and the Bonneval locations do a very good job, they are professional and very efficient during the checkin/check out process.

Went in for a Stye that had to be removed. Was first sold $100+ in products not covered by insurance, talked into another $250.00 procedure to clean my eyelashes, also not covered, and pretty sure Not Needed, then prescribed ointments that cost almost $300.00. Even charged me for my follow up visit. I would avoid! she's only been practicing just over 10 years and is money hungry!.

I was referred by my family physician to Bowden Eye. I was able to see Dr Sarah Darbandi the next day. I had an excellent experience from start to finish. I waited less than 5 minutes to been seen. The exam was through and Dr Darbandi was caring and compassionate, and referred me to an ocular surgeon immediately. They even called and made the appointment for the next day. It is so refreshing to be seen by caring professionals who listen to your concerns!

I recently had upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and am 100% satisfied with Dr. Darbandi. From the first visit to post-op, the care I received was top notch. The office staff at both the Southside and Mandarin offices were wonderful. Dr. Darbandi answered all of my questions, and was very gentle and caring. It was two months from my first visit to surgery, I never felt rushed or pressured to do other procedures. I highly recommend her.

She has been very accommodating to my daughter who has a rare disorder related to her thyroid. I highly recommend her!! She is worth the wait!

Bottom line: this was a bad experience. When you visit Dr. Darbandi, The staff is prepared to give you an eye examination to determine your prescription for eye glasses, even if you don't want glasses! It took 5 hours to complete their eye tests and conferences! They inform you that these tests must be done "to complete the file" before you can see Dr. Darbandi. I was there three hours before I ever saw the doctor! She saw me for about 15 minutes. I informed different staff members several ti

Dr. Darbandi helped me with my eye care condition and I am forever thankful. She even came in on the weekend when I just couldn't hang on until Monday.

Dr Darbandi recently did my permanent eyeliner and I couldn't be happier with the experience and my result! Having a tattoo done in such a sensitive area like my eyelids was a little scary to think about. She was made it so easy, talked me through every step, and made me feel very comfortable. I am the type that must put eyeliner on everyday to make me feel less tired looking and I love now that I can wake up and not feel the need to put on anything!

Dr. Darbandi is absolutely amazing. Having a visit with her is always a joy, and she is super patient and sweet. I see her for eye care, as well as my aesthetic needs. I've have laser hair removal, IPL face treatment, and let her recommend awesome skin care products. I plan on visiting again in the very near future for permanent makeup!

Had eyelid surgery. Very positive outcome. Well worth the minor post-surgical discomfort. I was at work the day after the procedure.
