Dr. Ro reminded me of the old-fashioned male doctors from my childhood. She had no interest in anything I attempted to say, and interrupted my every sentence. She had her mind made up prior to our appointment, and focused on forcing me to say what she wanted to hear to reinforce her bias.

I went to a few times for different problems. On both occasions she prescribed something that a specialist later told me should never be prescribed in that situation, or ever, really. It just seemed like she did not pay enough attention and think about the problem I had, and I got referred to a specialist without much help from her. Both the OB-GYN and the dermatologist I went specifically told me to not continue to take what Dr. Ro had prescribed.

She is business-like and I assume, a competent doctor, but I had trouble getting her to listen to me or to discuss additional research I had read about.
