Dr. Serrano has been my PCP since 2020. Whenever I needed to see her, she was on leave. I had no continuity of care at this clinic because I had to see a different provider each time. I cannot rate her on my experience with her because I did not get to know her. The PA would get one star- minimized my concerns and was arrogant when she did.

Bait and Switch Experience
Sarah Serrano was my doctor for a few years, and in the first year, I experienced a very compassionate and sincere professional who presented genuine concern about my wellbeing. Then I noticed a change in her behavior, attitude, and treatment for me. Coincidentally, she had also obtained a new staff nurse with incredibly condescending and gaslighting behavior towards me with each new appointment. I told Dr Sarah Serrano that I preferred to stick with ongoing depoprovera as the best relief for severe dysmenorrhea, but because I missed/rescheduled 2 seperate depo appmnts that year she was reluctant to continue treatmnt, and instead suggested a 'permanent solution that would save time/resources', but it seemed to me it would also prevent me from ever having children. I had to ask if that was the case for her to even share that significant detail! I want children, and the 'permanent solution' would've only benefited her position. So out of touch. I finally lost all trust respect for her.

Well, at first Dr. Serrano was great, but once I was diagnosed with both a mental health issue and substance abuse issue (I was under psychiatric care and I had gone through treatment for my substance abuse), there was a distinct change in both treatment and attitude. My symptoms were ignored and I was questioned on the validity of my answers; which was not the case prior to my diagnosis. Even the office staff was dismissive and insulting, which, once again, was not the case prior to my diagnosis. Her treatment of my husband is entirely different and despite his excessive drinking, his high cholesterol and his weight (obesity), she neither chastises him nor questions him. I now seek treatment elsewhere.

When I went to Dr. Serrano the first time, I was needing someone to help me with disability. I now have a new primary care physician. I have numerous medical conditions. She took the time to listen to everything and come up with a plan for treating me. My first impression is that she is truly compassionate, and passionate about helping me. At the end of all my problems, she stated that she believed we could work well together, and I thankfully agreed. I look forward to improving my health in the coming months and years, with the help of Dr. Sarah Serrano!

Dr Serrano has been my dr. for a few years and she is the best physician I have ever had. She is compassionate, she takes time with me, thoroughly explains everything and follows up. I have left the Bend area after 16 years there and she is still my primary care doctor. I think she is top notch and irreplaceable!

I was not able to see my primary doctor, Dr Myers so I had an appointment with Dr. Serrano. She is lovely, a breath of fresh air. Kind, caring and smart. Hope that she stays that way. She works with Dr Myers who is the best doctor I have had in 4 countries and six states,

Dr. Serrano is the most caring and thorough doctor I have had. I have several difficult conditions and she takes the time to make sure I have addressed any concerns or questions at each of my appointments. I wish all doctors cared as much as she does about giving quality care.

Dr. Serrano is truly my most trusted, caring, thorough, intelligent and BEST doctor that I have ever entrusted with my health. From an insignificant skin rash to getting to the root of a serious cardiac problem, Dr. Serrano has been on target from diagnoses to remedy. Dr. Serrano is exceptional at helping to understand the problem and go over all options to address any issues. Her support staff is of the best, her team and resources are "TOP NOTCH!" At my 63 years of age, Dr. Serrano is my all-time favorite and most competent that I have received care from.

I’m usually very untrustworthy of doctors but a friend who works with Dr. Serrano suggested her and I’m so glad she did. Dr. Serrano truly cares about her work and her patients.

During what was supposed to be a simple prostate exam, Dr. Serrano did something that caused severe pain and damage to my urinary system and rectum. This was no ordinary prostate exam. It was violent, and her actions during and after were bizarre. For weeks following it, blood was found in my urine, and four months later I am still in pain. I have been to three doctors since, and I now have a referral for a cat scan and to see a surgeon. Avoid this creepy doctor at all costs.
