Dr. Sarah White, DO

Dr. White is the best Doctor I've ever had! She and her staff have good communication. Dr. White has not been judgemental towards me or what I have (or haven't) done in the past to make my health worse. I have diabetes and she and her staff were able to help me get my Omnipod (tubeless and wireless insulin pump), as well as my Dexcom G6 (continuous glucose monitor) system. I am still young (39) and didn’t take great care of my health since my diabetes diagnosis as a teenager, but Dr. White has been my biggest cheerleader and I attribute my recent lowering of my a1c from 8.9 to 7.1 in three months time, to Dr. White. Dr. White has personally called me (and my husband because he’s a patient too) if there is something urgent she needs to discuss. Dr. White has also left “no stone unturned” when it comes to my health as she does not-pick through all my test results. Dr. White is a young Doctor (my age) but she is knowledgeable and up-to-date with all the new medical information out there!

I went to see a very highly reviewed doctor from this site. It was awful. He was out of touch, made an unprofessional remark, and mistakenly handed me my own chart at the end of the visit. I saw Dr. Sarah by chance for a separate medical problem and switched to her as my primary care provider right away. She is very responsive on the portal and an intelligent practitioner. I understand everyone has different needs and tastes in physicians, and I encourage everyone in my family to find a doctor they are comfortable with. I am very comfortable as a patient of Dr. White.

A good doctor to see if you have a well-known, well-understood problem or for entirely routine checkups. However, she was not responsive to my needs when I got Lyme Disease. I was forced to see a specialist without a referral - which made it much more expensive. It was not easy to confer with her directly, either - when I called to plead my case for the referral, her messages to me were conveyed through a nurse.
