She was patient and thorough.

Dr Gorantla for the 15 min interact we've had with her was ok as was her PA. But after initial colonoscopy & diagnosis, it has been a horrific experience. Her staff (nurse, PA or appt desk) do not return phone calls, they screw up appts (called to tell us of 5/6 appt but couldn't tell us the time then mentioned 2 other dates and finally said, "OH! it hasn't been scheduled yet!" and transferred me to appt. desk who, 26 hours later, still hasn't returned call. The nurse's voicemail goes on for a minute (literally) telling you what she WON'T DO she has yet to call back. I wouldn't recommend this staff to anyone. Via Christi system in general has gone downhill badly. Their billing depart. is just as bad at screwing things up.

Dr Gorantla listen to me and ask a lot of questions and explained everything clearly to me. I had 2 procedures done to check out causes for my problem. She personally called me just a few days later with the biopsy results.

Dr. Gorantla MD might be a good DR. but when a patient who is getting a colonoscopy continually tells you she is in pain and discomfort, 2 times I was given more meds, the third time I was just told we are almost done twice! BAD BAD! I was angry. Will never see her again and I advise against her practicing. 3 days later and I am still angry about the whole procedure. The staff was good. Never again for this DR.

Horrible experience. She doesnt understand the more rare diseases. She wont treat serious illness. She ignores patient requests and does not call back when there is an emergency. Awful awful awful.

Very nice great listener answered all my questions. Great doctor id very much recommend her!
