This doctor was assigned to my father at Kendal Regional Hospital and was not following up with my father’s condition as he worsened. In the 7 days she was assigned to him, she never returned a single call. I am his healthcare sutra get and POA and my father is unable to make decisions due to medical/mental status. If I had not gone to hospital to demand information, I would have never been allowed to witness my father’s severe state. My father was unable to eat or drink and the doctor either did not bother to check or just neglected to do anything about this, as were the majority of the non-English speaking nurses who could not find any record of what my fathers food and liquid intake had been. He could have been sent to hospice to die peacefully in the presence of his children and brothers. Instead, his status worsened with CoVid 19 and he could not be transferred in time.
