The most amazing doctor ever!
Dr. K saved my daughters life at 18 days old and has been her neurosurgeon for over 19 years. He has been amazing with her and has always spent the time with us explaining every MRI results and procedures. He has the best bedside manner. As a provider he has always made sure when he was unavailable that she was in the best hands and would still be part of the care while away. There is not enough words to describe the doctor and person that he is. Forever thankful

Do not trust this “doctor” or “professor.”
His PA had assured my wife that her pain was due to spine problems, after she conferred with the “doctor.” He came to the appointment without having read the MRI or medical file. He immediately said that leg pain was not due to her spine. He referred us to a female Neurologist “friend”, who he claimed knew more about nerve pain. Strangely, she works in the same office at SUNY. Note recent spine surgery and a steroid injection, by two specialists, who insisted the spine was causative to the daily, excruciating pain. Avoid him!

Poor bedside manner
I went in on third visit with understanding it was preop to relieve pressure on nerves at L4-L5. I’d had a new MRI etc in advance. Tells me no to surgery and it’s not due to compression of the nerves despite what MRI says and sends me on my way. Will NEVER go back!

Did emergency surgery on a C-5 and C-6 break and spinal cord injury! Thank God he did!
