Dr. Scot Youngblood, MD

Had ankle surgery at NMCSD and am one of 5 that I know of who he assisted on the surgery and ended up with Osteomyelitis that almost killed me. Wouldn’t let him see me or my family now if he was the last surgeon around.

My first appointment was a total waste of time. It was more or less to have me come in, acknowledge my injury and then tell me to schedule a follow up. Complete waste of time off work, gas and energy. I wanted to call and cancel my follow up because my disappointment in the first visit and found so many terrible reviews. This doctors bottom line is money. He didn't care about me and he doesn't care about you, only what lines his pocket and I have a feeling I would have been dragged along for every dollar I was worth.

Looking at reviews on Dr Youngblood and to tell you the truth I didn’t get that Dr that everyone was talking about he was patient and explained everything to me and gave me opinions so I don’t know I got a Dr that was understanding

Not sure where to start but I didn't fell listened to at all by this doctor looking at my ankle and probably didn't want to help me because I don't have good insurance. Still sucked every penny he could from me. I really felt scammed.

Prompt and timely but very rough exam. Unmindful of my injury. Repeated my symptoms to him multiple times and still didn't auscultate in anything I was saying. Very heedless doctor.

How is this guy a doctor???????????????? Acted as if I was just fine when I have six other doctors telling me otherwise. Who's payin this guy to lie? It won't pay off.

There’s a reason he’s known as the go-to doctor for insurance companies. If you have an injury and insurance wants to fight it, he’s ‘there guy.’ He will claim you aren’t injured on behalf of the insurance companies. Scam. Complete scam.

I had to go to an assessment with him for work comp. He didn't listen about any of my issues. He released me as physically fit to work at a physically demanding job, & I can't carry 10 lbs. I don't know what job he thinks Im fit for, not mine. I can't work & have lost my wc pay & medical because of him & his report. His decision has damaged my life greatly. I think he was paid off to make the report for the insurance co. to get out of their financial responsibility. I think he is very unethica

I just had surgery by the best of the best. He knows his tendons and ligaments. I'm lucky as a military dependent to have just a find surgeon. My shoulder feels better already and we don't even have a F/U visit yet.

Dr Youngblood was my daughters surgeon for her ankle surgery. He explained every step of the procedure to us in terms we could understand. He answered all our questions. Never once making us feel rushed or that our concerns weren't valid. Most importantly, he made my daughter feel comfortable and safe. I am very pleased with our choice in surgeons and recommend him to all who are considering Ortho surgery.
