Don't recommend in 2025
While I went to Dr Scott Buckner (after seeing his commercial on ABC in Baltimore I. 2021 after my car accident), he was able to fix my veins on legs in 2024, yet after he spent year of convincing me to perform procedure on my private parts, after I agreed and went through tests, during procedure. He refused to finished procedure, while feeling not sure about himself, and his office manager-male, Alex, walked in (without knocking) to surgery waiting room twice disturbing nurse from monitoring me. Don't recommend. I canceled my appts.

Provided friendly effective treatment. My feet use to look like a puffer fish. Swelling subsided a lot after treatments.

I am worse off than when i had the procedures. My lower right leg, knee down is numb, has had no feeling since Nov. 2018 after a procedure. When asking questions to Dr. Buckner and staff, they got very defensive, condescending, and got very flustered, talking down to me like I didnt know what I was asking - and never received full explanations except to continue having more treatments because my legs supposedly caused the numbness and his treatments would fix it. No, the treatments immediately caused the numbness, nerve damage. I am a very healthy, very active 50 yr old... who had very minor spider veins that I wanted to cosmetically be gone. I'm worse off.

Every staff member I have encountered including Dr. Buckner is so nice, professional, courteous, and friendly. I have had very little wait time each time, and have had an overall wonderful experience each time I have had an appointment. I have already referred Dr. Buckner to several other people that I work with!

The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. Dr. Buckner takes time to give thorough explanations about any questions you have. I feel that he can be a little too relaxed during the procedures in an effort to try to keep you calm and comfortable. Can't say whether that is a good or bad thing. I am a little disappointed at the healing time. I started my procedures in Sept. 2018 in the hopes that most of the scaring would have faded before our vacation to Miami in July 2019. I scares are still prominent. I was self conscience about my legs the whole vacation which was disappointing because I had worked so hard to be in excellence physical shape only to have scared legs. Although the scaring is beginning to fade, it is taking much longer than expected. My vein visibility has diminished significantly though. I have mixed emotions.....

The doctor who saw me gave me all sorts of urgent "medical" reasons to have the veins treated - most of which were untrue. For example, I was told the veins put me at a high risk of "dangerous" blood clots - but varicose veins are NOT a source of deep vein thrombosis. I was told that the veins were "causing" edema because they "leaked fluid" - also not true. Check the facts before letting these folks scare you into a procedure!

Wonderful! Excellent! Well-informed! Polite! It is obvious Dr. Buckner and each technician is well trained. This is evident by their outstanding performance. The willingness of technicians to assist patients is exceedingly helpful. The office staff is patient, perceptive, and helpful. I welcome each appointment because of the warm welcome from each staff member. It is a pleasure to be a patient at Vein Clinic of America.
