He does not return phone calls.

He was on call when my family member was really sick in JFK hospital. He refused to see them leaving this person in pain without proper care until the next on call doctor came in.

This physician is not only superb as a GI but he is a kind, caring, respectful and patient human being. He is well respected by his colleagues but very much loved by his patients. He is excellent at his profession and has helped any number of my friends and colleagues. I have never heard anything but glowing reports from anyone who is or has been his patient.

I did a preventive colon screening per insurance policy after 50 years old. I had no any issues and was told from insurance it's fully covered. But this doctor sent out bills for various excuses after screening. I'll definitely not go to this doctor anymore.

the receptionist forgot my appointment, I have waited more than 30 minutes in the parking lot. Called again, she said they were real backed up, asked me hold for another couple minutes.. When I walked in, found the waiting room's empty. There is no greeting, no apology, got some attitude in this receptionist. Never recommend Dr Chae to my family & friends.

Dr. Chae is a great doctor. He is patient and thorough. His staff is also kind and easy to work with.

Dr. Chae is good, very good. The doctor has treated me twice and saved my life.

Saw him for three years complained of severe pain in abdomine. Dr Chae attributed the pain to poor diet, too much fatty food and hot sauce. His diagnosis was gastritis. Ate oatmeal and steamed food everyday but every month to three months an had an episode of severe pain. Dr’s response was that it was due to eating poorly. Changed dr’s and it turned out to be numerous stones in bial ducts and liver.

His staff is rude and his bedside manner is horrible. I lost 125 pounds and he had the nerve to bash me about my body and say that I need plastic surgery to repair it. I didn't ask him he was supposed to just give me my results And help me. he could've said it in a much better way but instead he made me feel self conscious and insecure. I was proud of losing weight and he just brought me down. My review is based on one visit. I'm not sure if he is a good doctor and I do not care to find out

The best doctor in the area.

Dr. Chae is a good doctor, the problem my husband has encounter is with the scheduling. We came here 2 times and both times came 2 hours before our appointment as the receptionist advice to come in early unfortunately both times we have waited over an hour to be seen. Something i didnt like is that is seem a lot of asian patients get call faster or have less waiting time the other patients. Hopefully this was only our experience. The people who perform the Colonoscopy and endoscopy are great!

Dr. Chae is an excellent doctor who explained my condition and options in a concise and easy to understand language. Most importantly he followed up just to ensure my condition improved. I have recommended three friends and all agreed he is by far the best doctor they have come across.
