Saw him for an annual checkup which included all the panel bloodwork. Insurance told me it was covered 100%. His staff also confirmed 100% covered for annual checkup. But, I asked him one single question about my blood pressure, of which they take anyway. I requested some blood pressure medication and he gave me a water pill. I said those aren't too effective. He said lets try this first and just call back and we can get you something more if needed. So, I went back the next month and he gave me a bit stronger pill in addition. Then, I looked at my insurance claim. On the first visit, ie annual checkup, they billed me for 2 office visits, one covered as an annual checkup and the other one not covered and $164 just because I asked about getting a blood pressure RX. On the second visit they charged me another $263 just to get the second pill, that he said he would just 'phone in'. What a rip off artist that rushes you through visits and is not caring at all. I had seen Culpepper a few times in Nampa and I can’t do it anymore. He is extremely cold and cut off, I try to smile and be warm and welcoming and this is met with nothing more than discord. Almost disgust! It’s absolutely horrible! I had a knee injury that needed to be attended to so he starts looking at one knee, moving it around (performing ROM) asking me how it feels, fine I say, then tells me he thinks it’s fine. Well... yes... that’s not even the injured knee!!!! ??????? Unbelievable. Is he even mentally present during the exam?

My significant other and I have been patients of Dr. Culpepper for a number of years. We have been happy with our service. On my last visit, I was especially pleased as I had multiple problems that he dealt with much to my satisfaction. Dr. Culpepper always makes sure that all of our concerns have been dealt with or questions answered.

My visit was excellent, as usual. I never feel like I'm on a conveyor belt - in and out as fast as possible. He listens to what I'm saying and comes up with solutions, answers, etc.

Once you have had a chance to meet Dr. Culpepper several times you realize how very much he cares about your health and well being. I have developed complete trust in him. When he isn't sure about something he either refers you to a specialist or researches and then provides you the answer. Highly recommend him!

I would NOT recommend this physician based on my first and only experience at Dr. Culpepper's office. My principal complaint is inadequate communication e.g. changes to medication without knowledge or consent, and lack of attention to detail on Dr. Culpepper's part - lab results were not forthcoming or accurate. As a new patient I expect a higher, or at least a sufficient amount of consideration regarding my health. I would recommend going someplace else.

This was the worst experience I have had with a dr. The dr was disrespectful, rude, and did not listen to the issues I was having. He ordered tests without consulting with me so I was having to ask a poor little nursing assistant what we were doing and why. The dr did not give me anytime to explain symptoms or question my health and family history. I walked out in tears after he was demeaning and disrespectful. We did not get any type of resolution.

Dr. Culpepper performed a physical evaluation our out teenage daughter, as required to play sports in high school. She is a average out of shape teenager who is not very active and has bouts of laziness as plagues the age. While conducting the interview she complained of multiple ailments and the diagnosis was multiple tests and x-rays and diagnosis of something that cannot be seen on an x-ray. I am outraged at the multitude and types of tests that were ordered and will not every go back.
