Great Doctor
Dr. Dewhirst saved my husband's life. His diagnosis, care and compassion was wonderful for him and the family. My husband now has a treatment plan that he can follow and is on his way to good mental health.

I agree with several others in that Dr. Dewhirst is compassionate and caring, knowledgeable and intelligent. I consider myself fortunate that I am able to consult him. I feel I have found the right physician after many years of trying.

Awful experience, did not listen or provide any other support for depression other than antidepressants. Prescribed antidepressants that cannot be taken during pregnancy after I mentioned that being a possibility. Minimized the drawbacks of medications and did not go over side effects.

Honestly, the very best mental health doctor that I have ever had. Dr. Dewhirst is very patient, kind, and attentive. He takes your concerns seriously and works with you to develop an effective treatment. He is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever met and he really cares about his patients. I really wish all my doctors were like him.

Dr. Dewhirst is very knowledgeable, attentive, and effective. He ensures all concerns are addressed and a plan of treatment is established. He knows how to approach delicate topics with professionalism and compassion. He genuinely cares about the patients’ wellbeing.
