Professional and knowledgeable. Excellent care
He took really good care of my wife when she had a rotator cuff surgery. He was honest about the risks of surgery and the risks of not doing surgery. After surgery he helped us to understand the importance of physical therapy. I would highly recommend him.

Doesn’t care about patients
I had a skiing accident and was referred to see an orthopedic dr. on my return. I’m on crutches and I took my radiology and X-ray report into his office ahead of my appointment. I received a call the day before stating the Dr had reviewed my radiology and had no reason to see me. The assistant told me I could go to Wichita to see another doctor. I asked if I was being referred. She said no but if I still wanted to see a doctor I should go to Wichita. To who? For what? She didn’t have an answer. I asked why and she put me on hold. When she came back she started to say the name of a doctor as I hung up. I wouldn’t see Dr Goin for anything. He’s a flake.

Sent patient home from ER with with a broken ankle
It made me select at least 1 star, should be zero. My niece went to the ER after a bad fall on a Saturday afternoon. Dr. Goin was ortho on-call. The hospital did x-rays, confirmed a broken ankle (missed the 3rd break). Dr. Goin did not even go in to set it. The nurses wrapped in a soft cast and told her she was to go home and contact an orthopedic surgeon on Monday. DO NOT GO TO HUTCHINSON HOSPITAL.

Dr. Repaired my left shoulder and rebuilt my right. Both have greater ROM than expected. My employer did not expect me to be able to return to work. I returned to work with full medical release 15 weeks later. My wife has an appointment with Dr this week.
