Dr. Scott Hansen, MD

Agree with others who mentioned rushed decisions, no care for patients afterwards, bad judgement calls. Too many details to include of a very bad experience, but I’m so nervous knowing he is so close now and that my friends and neighbors could possibly go to him. He used to be miles away. Find someone else.

He will also see older women. He has delivered 3 of my grand babies! I would highly recommend him!

I honestly could not recommend a better doctor for me and my deliveries. He is all around amazing. From taking the time to care for and understand my struggles/ concerns, to making sure I am comfortable and happy with our plan. His bedside manners are off the charts. Even during a stressful delivery, he made sure what I wanted was respected. Never have I had a doctor be so wonderful. I definitely will go back for my next baby.

Dr Hansen delivered all 5 of my children. He has always been so personable and caring. Always took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions. He was so sweet with each of my babies as he delivered them; would talk to them as they entered the world. I had some scares after two of my deliveries and he handle each scare with grace and concern. Dr. Hansen is so great that my older sister decided to go to him when her insurance changed and she no longer could go to her ON/GYN. Dr Hansen was very sympathetic to my sisters situation and the fact that she lost two babies shortly after birth. There’s a reason why I have continued to go to this man. I don’t know what I’ll do once he retires.

He is a very professional and caring Doctor. He left a positive impression on me after I had trigger from a past trauma that I was unable to process through the emotions before my Dr visit. People’s response to your trauma can be just as hard as the event that happened but Dr Hansen responded to my craziness in the most professional caring way possible. I was not shamed or criticized for having ptsd or the events that lead to having ptsd, Which left a positive impression on me. He was my Dr for all of my pregnancies and I trust his knowledge and his work ethic in keeping my babies and myself safe. I would say he has very good work ethic he is a very professional trustworthy Dr . I trust his skills and the knowledge he has. I would recommend him if you were looking for an obgyn. I have had a positive experience with his staff as well. From the greetings at the front desk ,thelady who draws blood has always been positive and his nurses have always been kind. Billing staff was ok also

I definitely would not recommend dr Hansen. He was only concerned about making money and not about the well being of me or my baby. When I was pushing he was down the hall but would not answer the phone. The nurse had to hold my baby in while we waited for him to come. He also kept pushing the nurse to turn up the oxytocin even tho it was not healthy for me or the baby. I had to be on oxygen because baby wasn’t breathing good.

Dr. Hansen is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I have ever seen. I had multiple medical issues and he was on top of everything and gave me top notch care. His office staff is amazing as well.

Dr. Hansen is incredibly unorganized and extremely dangerous for being in the profession that he is in. Would not recommend and would highly suggest finding a different doctor.

Had me push with s nurse for two hours. There was so much stress on me and my son that he came out unresponsive. He almost killedd the both of us. I never saw him in the hospital. He never did a follow up in the hospital and left my on the iv for over 48 hours. I was so swollen from fluids that it drowned out my milk. I was not able to nurse because of it. I have given birth to there babies sence. Not on delivery has gone down that way. I have never pushed with out a doctor in the room.

This guy body shamed me. He told me my labia minora isn't something he sees every day. I was so self conscious after that I haven't been sexually active. I went and saw 2 other Dr's and they said there is absolutely nothing wrong with my body. They said it's completely normal and that Mr Hansen is ignorant for saying such an awful comment about my body part. I've had to go to counseling due to this statement as well. It made me feel very insecure about myself. I would never recommend this man.

I love Dr. Hansen! He delivered my fourth baby, my second VBAC and I had a great experience. I don't have the easiest time during pregnancy and he would see me anytime I needed and made sure my baby made it to term. He is super friendly and takes the time to answer all of my questions and never makes me feel dumb. I also never had long wait times. I Highly recommend Dr. Hansen.

Spent basically zero time with me, didn't ask me any questions about how things were going, nor was I given the opportunity to ask! I waited 2 HOURS to see- not the doctor- his nurse. Which, btw, you pay full price for. The ultrasound techs he works with are great, facilities are clean enough, but the office itself is a disaster. The wait times were never under and hour. The staff was very curt. So now I'm stuck paying $500 for a total of 15 min with this guy. Obvi I delivered elsewhere.

Dr. Hansen is amazing. I've been seeing him since I was 17 and have now had 2 babies delivered by him. He is super knowledgeable and down to earth and makes you feel comfortable. His office staff is efficient and friendly and always gets back to me right away if I need something.

Dr. Hansen is very nice and he really listens to you when you have questions or concerns about your body and health, he is very knowledgeable and has answered every question I have ever had. He was my mothers doctor through pregnancy and he was the one to birth me so it made me feel more comfortable going to him than another doctor. Every appointment I have had with him has been a pleasant one and not too awkward, I would recommend him to anyone.
