Understanding
I met with Dr. Herbert to discuss radiation treatment for breast cancer. He respected me by first meeting me fully clothed. He left the exam room while I changed into a gown. After the exam, he gave me another gown to help me cover up while we talked more about upcoming visits. He knew my case, explained the process and not only listened, but heard me! He took his time with me. I felt heard and respected!

Dr. Herbert is one of the best docs I have met. He is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time to review all your history - knows it almost by heart and tells it like it is (which I really appreciate). He is friendly and actually made my radiation sessions quite pleasant. In addition, the staff at the facility can't be beat.

While Dr. Herbert may be very knowledgeable I did not appreciate him yelling at me when I asked him a question and then responding to me like I'm stupid. Doctor or not - no one has the right to yell at me! Just who does he think he is?
