Dr. Scott Kapulskey, MD

Dr. Kapulskey’s staff contacted me many many times trying to get me to take tests that I didn’t need to take and at one point said if I didn’t, I wouldn’t be able to get medical care. I did need to get a vein scan at one point, and they held to their promise and denied it with the imaging center. I reported this to Optimum and they said it shouldn’t be this way, but they have no control over their personal care physicians practices. The prescription for the test had been written by my personal physician, who is not in the Optimum system. The imaging center said that I couldn’t pay out of pocket, even though I wanted to because I was under Optimum healthcare.I now desperately need an MRI on my shoulder and contacted Optimum who is very sympathetic, and they told me I need another personal physician from their roster, who they felt would be much nicer and more understanding to deal with. I will be contacting them for an appointment when they open on Monday.

I sat in with my partner during his first appt with Dr. Kapulskey. He was very welcoming and immediately put us both at ease. Spoke to us like we were human beings and not below him as a lot of doctors seem to do these days. He spoke to us in the language we could understand and we both felt confident in all the information and medical choices he suggested as far as my partners health and well-being going forward. For the first time in a long time, even though it was an appointment for myself, I felt at ease knowing that my partner would be taken care of very well. Thanks so much Dr. Kapulskey! I would definitely recommend him to anybody and this was just the first visit!

Dr Kapulskey was very knowledgeable and thorough. He made sure that I saw the right specialist and that I had all the tests required before I went to see the specialist. He is a good dr and was very kind.

Dr Kapulskey thoroughly explained what my medical issues are what next steps we required. He listened to me and gave me excellent medical advice, as well as sending me to the correct specialists. He followed up with me after I went to the specialist to explain what my issues turned out to be. Very kind and compassionate.

Dr. Kapulskey is by far the best doctor my wife and I have ever had. He is friendly, approachable, down-to-earth, and exceptionally knowledgeable. An unbeatable combination.

I was assigned this doctor by Optimum Healthcare and they issued me a card with his name as my PCP. When I tried to make an appt Ericka said he was booked up eventhough I said I had no emergency and would wait for a reasonable time to see him. She still said he has no appts and told me to look for another PCP. When I asked her last name and title she refused, then slammed the phone down and said she needed to speak with the doctor. This is the worse health insurance I have ever dealt with.

dr. Kubaska is one of the best actors I've ever had in my life hope he was still practicing and New Jersey I miss him very very much who is the best doctor anyone could ever have most honest most trustworthy he was like a brother Godby it's in New Jersey that's why you left for Florida maybe me and needle see is some day down there because I'm heading for the keys wish you well Big Brother Joe and Anita Driscoll
