My body doesn’t metabolize Novocain and lidocaine in a normal way. When I told him I could still feel what he was doing, he didn’t believe me and jabbed a nerve in order to intentionally cause pain. When the tears started to roll, he said, “Sorry, sweetie. This is going to hurt.” and then proceeded to remove the wisdom teeth. Not only was he extremely condescending by calling an adult woman “sweetie”, I felt everything he did. I was fully numb 15 minutes after the procedure was done. Patience was all I asked for. Hands down this was one of the worst experiences of my life. Four years later and I’m still terrified of the dentist!

He removed my wisdom teeth and left a root. When I went back to him because of the pain, he accused me of seeking pain killers. His assistant took the x-ray that showed he left an exposed root. He cut the root out without any anesthesia, severing a nerve. He sent me off with no antibiotics or pain relief. He is a horrible dentist. If I could give him a negative rating I would.

My Ex Husband received an invoice four months after service from, ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY Dr. Scott A. Keyes D.D.S. M.S. 725 S Shoop Ave Wauseon, OH 43567 (419) 335-6725, the dental surgeon, who removed our son’s wisdom teeth. On the invoice the office representative hand wrote that payment was due on March 20, 2020 because the dental surgeon would be retired as of that date and after that date the amount due would go into collections. ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY Dr. Scott A. Keyes D.D.S. M.S. clinic told my ex-husband that they were waiting on the Anthem insurance company, which is my insurance, to respond to the claim and then later told my ex-husband Anthem insurance denied the coverage for this claim. I went online to review the claims filed and there was not a claim from ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY Dr. Scott A. Keyes D.D.S. M.S. I called, Dr. Scott A. Keyes D.D.S. This guy is so bad that I post a rating every few years to warn people about him. Our experience was five years ago. Yes. That long ago and I still am upset about it. My daughter had her wisdom teeth out then had some bleeding. We had to go back in and he basically accused my daughter of lying about it, belittled her, bullied her. It was shocking. I know we live in a rural area with few choices of specialists. But go to anybody else even if you have to wait. Perhaps he needs to see a counselor for his anger issues. As far as any positive ratings posted here, I’m very dubious they are legit. Or perhaps he has a good day here and there. After all, a broken clock is right twice a day

I went to Dr Keyes needing my wisdoms extracted. I had nothing but great care with him and his staff. His staff and himself was very clear on the instructions to promote good healing. I had minimal pain and complications post op and I healed very nicely.

Zero bedside manner. Wisdom teeth removed and jaw surgery performed. Expects you to know how to take care of self and how to eat. Arrogant and rude.
