Dr. Renshaw always listens first, then asks questions. He reminds patients to take part in their care and advises them how useful test results will be in determining future treatment before ordering tests. He is also very clear about when a generic can be used and when a trade name product is necessary. He follows up with either email or a letter. I am glad that he is in charge of the medical student clerkship, where they can learn these details.
