Waste of time
Was referred to Dr Rotterman after an Achilles injury. Ended up having to have surgery after this Dr said I ruptured the Achilles... Surgery to lengthen the tendon... Surgery day came.. Never did PT, and after a few visits my ongoing pain was dismissed and I wasn't getting return calls. Dr Rotterman did not listen to me when I complained about pain worsening. Got a second opinion and the new Dr said my Achilles was never ruptured and surgery that was done by Dr Rotterman was a waste of time and useless and didn't address the issue. Now I have to start back at square one because a Dr I trusted did absolutely nothing for my ongoing issue. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with Dr Rotterman, he won't listen and you'll do nothing but waste your time and money!!

Excellent Podiatric Surgeon
My Primary Physician referred me to Dr Rotterman before learning he moved his practice to Etown. He advised me that he had seen Dr Rotterman's surgical work on another patient and a trip to Etown was worth it. He was not wrong. Just went through a toe fusion and already I'm thrilled with the outcome. Virtually no pain 2days after surgery. A perfect outcome. He took time to explain procedures and was patient with me to explain it until he felt I understood. A rare quality in MDs today and nearly unheard of in surgeons. I feel very fortunate to have a smart enough primary physician to refer me to the best podiatric surgeon in the region. Definitely worth the drive.

Dr.Rotterman does not listen to patients when they tell him that something is wrong and needs to be addressed. Now my husband has to have surgery by a totally different doctor because he is leaving the practice he is in now. Going from Louisville Kentucky to Elizabethtown Kentucky. He is not attentive enough to see something when something is definitely wrong.

Dr Rotterman is GREAT.
I went to see him after injuring my foot, he went on to diagnose me with neuropathy & treat me multiple times, for multiple ailments with my feet. He was always friendly, concerned & always spoke to me in a matter of fact manner (which I greatly appreciated). In short his I was able to regain my active lifestyle again & would recommend him to anyone needing foot & ankle care.

Horrible doesnt listen to patient
He knew not to touch my foot my husband has been changing my bandages since the day after surgery so since day one. I asked him not to several times. He did it anyway and was very very rough. My patient rights were violated my choice was not respected and I bled for days afterwards my husband couldve done it and not hurt me. I would definitely not recommend to anyone ever!

I was having problems with a callous on my right foot and my orthopedic surgeon suggested doctors in this private practice. What a wonderful experience from quick appointment, polite receptionists, and a very knowledgeable physician. I had read reviews and been told Dr Rotterman was very easy to talk to and I was definitely not disappointed. His personality is so pleasant that even the worry of a possible problem with foot was quickly dissipated with his easy going manner. I would highly recommend this practice and especially Dr. Rotterman. It was a pleasure to discuss my foot problem and find such an easy solution.

Dr Rotterman is excellent, but his office staff is horrible! I've been trying for 2 weeks to get someone to call me back about getting a form faxed! I have left numerous messages and they are just ignored!

Dr. Scott has great bedside manner and was diligent in fixing the issues I was having with my foot. Had he not taking care of it and office I would have had to go to the hospital for surgery. Great guy and great staff

Dr. Rotterman was quick to get me in when I needed immediate attention due to an accident and very confident in explaining what had to be done with a severed tendon In my foot. Since I am on Coumadin and have a heart condition, he was very attentive in understanding the steps we had to take prior to surgery. Dr. Rottermans nurse Keri is wonderful. Thanks.
