Why I would never recommend Dr. Sech!
When my wife and I first visited Dr. Sech, after the biopsy showed prostate cancer of low to mid grade level; he told us both several times, I'll get you back in the saddle. We believed him! I went threw all the exercise's etc. NO GO. Then Dr Sech did an implant. Was not ridged enought for penetration! He did nothing. Only said that my was probable Fat. She is not Fat!! She has never been Fat! Wish I had never had the implant put in, It serves no purpose... My leakage is bad. Dr. Sech also did the same surgery on my brother only a few months apart and my brother is in the same condition as I am. Only he has not had the implant because the way my implant turned out. Do not have the robo type surgery, it does a very poor job of protecting the nerves. I should have done my research before I let Dr Sech and his robo contraption do me and my wife a sham and destroy our sex life!! Folks, consider doing the going threw groin surgery; Wish I had! Hope this helps others!

He has been my doctor for about 6 years and he is The Best! I want to know where he is practicing- want to continue going to him only! Please reply. Called office and won’t call me back- guess he got fed up with Mission Health! Everyone I know is, wish someone else owned or people could take back Memorial Mission Hospital!

I had a good experience with Dr. Sech. I came in twice. The first appointment for an overview of what to expect from the vasectomy. The second appointment was soon thereafter and the vasectomy was performed quickly and relatively painlessly. I don't plan on having anyone poke around down there any time soon but would recommend Dr. Sech to my friends who are considering having the same procedure performed.

Dr Sech has been my urologist for the past 7 years or so. He was able to diagnose my prostate cancer early on and when it became an issue with red flags he and the radiologist planned my treatment and it has been a year and a half with all good news. My only negative comment concerns what seems to be longer wait times in the exam room for Dr Sech to appear. I do understand he is an excellent Dr and perhaps in high demand.

Dr. Such has been my Urologist since 2008 when he diagnosed my prostate cancer. My wife and I trusted his explanation and advice without a doubt. He did my surgery and subsequent treatment with the utmost professionalism and expertise. In the following months and years I have been completely cured of the cancer. I could not give Dr. Sech a higher recommendation and heartfelt thanks for the wonderful service he has provided.

My General Physician was concerned about my rising PSA. I found Dr. Sech and got a very quick appointment. I do have slow growing Prostate cancer. Dr. Sech was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I have been on active surveillance for over three years and Dr. Sech has been on top of my case from the beginning. He is very focused and paid very good attention to me and the monitoring, administering of my tests and numbers. He was sensitive to the fact that I am a forty year cancer survivor and the unique challenges that made on treatment options. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a no nonsense, focused, experienced and knowledgeable urologist.

Dr. Sech and his team treated both me and my wife with real care and concern from the minute we entered the office. Dr. Sech patiently explained the very complex issues of my diagnosis and never made us feel rushed as we made notes and talked about next steps with my prostate cancer. His office staff followup - and his personal call to my cell at week's end - have been such an encouragement and have given us chances to ask those questions that always come up after leaving the office. One of the greatest gifts as he transitioned me (for chemo) to an oncologist was his knowledge of the cancer treatment professionals in the area - and his respect from them - which accelerated my treatment start-date in a way I would never have known to do or would have thought possible... I wouldn't have even known where to begin. I am so grateful for my excellent care from Dr. Sech and everyone on his team.

I have been a patient of Scott Sech for a number of years, mainly watching for prostate problems suggested by psa levels. He recently performed a penile implant. He did an excellent job and with his assistant provided superior post-operative care, follow up instructions, and counseling. It is a procedure that I would highly recommend to my elderly friends who have erectile problems, want to maintain intimacy in their relationships, or, like me, find themselves widowed and would like to eventually have a new relationship. Dr. Sech is one of the few in the area who do these and, of course, you want someone who does them well--he certainly does. I would tend to agree with a few reviewers who have said that he does not come across as warm and fuzzy. But if you are prepared with questions, he answers them all and has been totally attentive to my urology-related concerns for several years. He went out of his way to accommodate my nerves during a previous diagnostic test.

Dr. Sech originally seems like a great doctor. Recently though I had a more complex issue which a series of test were ordered and some of which I simply could not do due to health problems. The office did not attempt to find alternatives. Luckily the problem has resolved itself but not after over $200 in copays for them to find out nothing.
