The doctor is horrible. He asked patient to order the lab, instead of logically justifying the problem. And the office stuff is also horrible. Definitely shouldn’t trust this doctor.

I've been with Dr. Silvia since he opened his practice (over 20 yrs). I've always gone for the bloodwork requested, MRIs, x-rays, etc. I needed my prescriptions re-filled after the last bloodwork and got into an unfavorable discussion with a Claudia. was told I needed to go back for an office visit to get my medications, even though I was there 5 months ago and the Dr. had already reviewed my bloodwork from a week earlier. Really made no sense and came across like an insurance gouge to me. Now I've got to find a new PCP. shame-- he's a good Dr.

Dr. Silvia is an exceptional family practitioner. Not only is he respectful, kind, and empathic, but also knowledgeable, competent, and professional. You will be impressed with his demeanor and will enjoy the experience of having him as your doctor. Not only will he ask the right questions, but he seeks to understand and offer a wide range of possible treatment options to accommodate the patient's needs. Bottom like: Exceptional.

Deceptive billing practices. They will double charge your insurance for services that were not rendered. Reception staff is extremely rude and will argue with you over the phone. Handles disputes very unprofessionally. Had to file a BBB complaint to get my dispute resolved. Dr. Silvia and his staff trash talked me in the response back to the BBB. You can find a better, more professional doctor elsewhere. I received horrible care at this office.

Dr. Silvia is amazing. He's attentive & works WITH you to best serve your health the way you want. In other words, he is open to alternative therapies & thoughts on health. He spends time & answers questions. My favorite part - if he doesn't have the answer, he'll look it up WITH you! I love him! So, why only 3 stars? It's the staff. They're curt, uncaring & trying to get an appointment in less than 6 weeks is impossible! Plus he no longer takes my Ambetter insurance. So I have move.
