Dr. Scott Stevens, MD

Stevens made it clear how busy he was and did not want to answer any of my questions. He was quite rude, curt and egotistical. He did not take the time to read my chart and was suprised when i pointed out previous medical issues that would affect my care. I left his office knowing I would never return. I found another surgeon who provided outstanding care.

I recently met with Dr. Stevens. He was professional, on time, kind and took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. He personally called me with the results of the tests. His staff is also extremely kind and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Stevens and his incredible staff.

I visited Dr. Stevens because of a pain in my lower abdomen. He checked me out and recommended an MRI. I informed him I would be traveling to Illinois within the week for approximately 1 month. He said it shouldn’t be a problem to get the MRI done before I left. The next day I got a call back from a woman in his office and was told they wouldn’t be able to get the MRI scheduled before I left. I then told her I’d like to get the MRI in Illinois and have the results sent back to Dr. Stevens. I was told that wasn’t possible. When I asked why, she said it was because she would need to know where I was getting the MRI and what their tax code was. I said I would provide that information, but she still refused. At this point she told me Dr. Stevens said I should just get a doctor in Illinois. I told her I didn’t want to start over with another doctor and saw no reason why they couldn’t make this work. She again told me she couldn’t help. So basically, they took my money and then dumped me.

Rude, curt, could be technically great but blows in and out of appts and could care less if u have questions ....maybe just a simple “how are u feeling “ would be nice ......go elsewhere if u can .

During an initial appointment with Dr. Stevens I feel I was treated poorly. Dr Stevens was unfriendly, curt, and a bit condescending. I understand that people have bad days and based on other surveys this was probably one of them days for Dr Stevens. Regardless I cancelled my appointment for surgery and will go to another surgeon.

Before my wife's surgery, I asked several of the nurses who take care of patients after surgery who they would want to operate on them and they all said Dr Stevens. I was not disappointed. He is a fantastic surgeon. He really cares about his patients well being. Physically and mentally.

Dr. Stevens is an outstanding surgeon. I am thankful for the excellent care I received.

Did amazing job removing gallbladder and repairing umbilical hernia. Highly recommend.

Putting yourself or a family members life in the hands of someone else is scary at best. If you are looking for the perfect surgeon, look no further because Dr. Stevens is just that. 5 stars on every category does not say enough. His staff made us feel secure and are remarkable people. If you ever have the need for a surgeon, do yourself a favor and call Dr. Stevens.

Dr. Stevens is an excellent surgeon. He had performed anothe surgery on me in the past yrs.so I went back to him for this surgery. Two days ago I had hernia repair...He is a thorough Dr. He explains everything. A good listener which is of utmost importance. I would recommend him to anyone needing a surgery. Very satisfied. Went home from Drs Hospital the next day! Thank you very much Dr. Stevens!

I went into see Dr. Stevens on a second opinion, and was very pleased with the way he explained everything to me and my wife, also the exam that was given was a complete one, he ordered a CT scan to have a better look at what he was working with, also had made a flexible schedule for my operation. Any time I would call for any reason I always had someone answer my question(s), my hernia repair was a very large one and I do not know how Dr. Stevens was able to an excellent repair but he did
