Dr Weiner put a plate in over my broken femur. I later had to have my leg amputated above the knee, then got an infection in the bone. I had to have a reampution and hardware taken out. Dr Weiner successfully performed this surgery.

I’m forever grateful to Dr. Weiner!!
I was taken by ambulance and had a life & death emergency surgery performed by Dr. Weiner to repair a compound fracture to my shoulder. He coordinated with a neurosurgeon and vascular surgeon adding to the complexity of the operation. The operation was nearly 5 hours long.Though I suffered some expected limited range of motion and some sensory nerve damage, I’ve enjoyed my normal activities for nearly 30 years now.Everyone at the Akron Hospital and follow up care treatment expressed to my Wife and I how fortunate we were to have Dr. Werner perform the operation. They stated he is the best orthopedic surgeon there is.We found that to be true in our experience!!!Additionally, we found him to be kind, compassionate, and considerate in discussing our concerns and questions.

Dr. Weiner is AWESOME! His team is top notch from residents, nurse practioneers, rns to the administrative staff. He is direct, compassionate and looks his patients in the eye. He is taking care of my mom & I am grateful for is skill, talent and ability as a physician. I was told by other ortho drs, Dr. Weiner is the best dr who works miracles. Thank you.
