My experience was at first acceptable. Then I was given a fistula for dialysis. The fistula did not mature so I had another surgery to put in a graph. I had multiple problems in accessing the graph. I eventually sought a ultrasound and found there were many problems with it. I had to have catheters placed until I had my transplants. I am now seeking help and advice from another surgeon. I leave it up to the individual to make their own decisions.

This man is not only an extremely skilled surgeon, but is also very compassionate about not only treating the health issue of the patient, but also listening and treating the patient. He made me feel at ease and I received fantastic care.

Dr. Westfall is obnoxious, rude, and demeaning of patients. He treated me like an idiot because I had come to see him, even though, first, I had been referred by my primary care physician and initiating an appointment with him had not been my choice and, second, other vascular surgeons I had seen in the past wanted me to have ultrasounds every six months. I would never see Dr. Westfall again and would NEVER recommend him to anyone.
