No empathy
Very rushed, asked questions, he was dismissive as to say who is the doctor here, you can’t know anything you are just a patient. He really didn’t seem to care.

I am very happy with Dr Wade. To date the results of the treatments have been better than expected. He is professional and easy to schedule appointments. He could spend a bit more time with patients, but I’m sure there are a lot of us.

Not MY doctor
No empathy, no information given on type of cancer - just came up with 2 chemo drugs - no discussion or explanation - no options offered. It sure chart was even reviewed before he came into the room. Couldn’t even tell me with certainty the stage of cancer. Did not answer my questions with any answers that were relevant. Would not trust him with my care.

I was told by my gp that he was referring me to an oncologist, which scared me no end! I met Dr Wade, and was and am very impressed with his knowledge, and consideration! I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, treated with chemo, 8 treatments + over 6 months, lost all my hair, but now am in remission, with an excellent prognosis! I can recommend Dr. Wade highly, he is caring, intelligent, and will always be grateful for his caring and care! Great doctor!

Dr. Wade seemed great at first. He seems to get easily irritated when being bombarded by questions, especially, when questioning his line of care with, good information. We also recently found he had lied about some of the scan results. As things progress he easily washes his hands “saying youve had a good run” We arent ready to give up that easily, but Wade is. Do youre research. You will find there are tons of doctors willing to go the extra mile, with better therapies.

My Dad passed away last week. He was seen by Dr. Schwartz for the first 2 yrs of his cancer and did great. Unfortunately Dr. Schwartz retired and we were handed over to Dr. Wade. At this point Dad started to decline. Dr. Wade was horrible about returning calls and communicating. In fact almost all of Dads appointments he was told to see the nurse practitioner, Dr. Wade was apparently never available. On a Friday morning we called Dr. Wades office 3 times because we needed guidance on what exactl

The average person with my type of cancer lives 20 -24 months. I am at 56 months largely thanks to Dr. Wade and not planning on checking out just yet. I have never felt like he slighted me at all when asking questions. As a cancer patient I do feel like you need to read and take on some of the responsibility for the ongoing battle.
