Unwilling to help
I saw Fahey for debilitating joint pain. He would not order x-rays or blood work. He didn’t even look at my chart and previous blood work from my GP! Threw me a fibromyalgia diagnosis and a muscle relaxer. It did not help, of course. The actual diagnosis is rheumatoid arthritis. I am now on an immunosuppressant and doing much better. He won’t do any good for you. If you’re young, it’s “all in your head.” He has no desire to get to the root cause of your issues. You will not feel heard, seen, or important!

Dr. Fahey was seeing my daughter who was experiencing severe fatigue, night sweats, fevers, joint pain, etc. He was very quick, and short with her (I accompanied her). This was so different from my experience with him the year prior. He told her primary doctor that he thought it was all in her head. We were sent to another doctor in Charlotte who has now diagnosed and is treating her. He was very clear to tell her yesterday “this is NOT in your head”. You cannot fake blood test results, fevers, etc. I have never been more disappointed and frustrated.

Upon entering, front desk staff will ignore you whilst they busy themselves gossiping. Not discussing important business of their day which would be an acceptable reason to ignore their new client, just gossiping. Mr. Fahey, doesn't deserve the title of doctor. He doesn't perform a proper clinical interview nor exam. He'll get up after three minutes to go talk with someone else, & not for an excusable reason like an urgent call to another room -- on *your time and money!* He'll eventually saunter back in, but never to actually finish the clinical interview. He won't do much of an exam either. Just press a few places, order lab work, call in a script, walk away, and you'll *never* get any answers, be heard, nor properly treated. He makes it clear he doesnt care to help you get answers, nor form a plan for healing and managing your condition. If you want a real physician with good office staff, avoid this place like the plague! I feel ripped off & subjected to medical gaslighting.

Dr Fahey is a very good Dr. Who listens and spends however much time is needed with you. I have been seeing Dr. Fahey for 7 years and he has cared well for me. His assistant, Morgan is great and always responds quickly with inquiries, refills and other things requested. The front office staff are friendly and efficient. Dr. Fahey will remain my Dr. Even though I am moving to the carolina coast as I dont see the need to look for another. Thank you Dr. Fahey!

I've been very pleased with my visits. The front desk staff are organized and friendly. His medical assistant is also very welcoming and quick to respond to nurse messages that are left for her. I like that Dr. Fahey does not rush through his visits, he provides a lot of information, and let's me have control of my treatment. He has great bedside manner!

Not a hold your hand and tell me what is going on kind of doctor but I don't require that. I want a doctor who will educate me and knows what he or she is talking about. Dr. Fahey was very knowledgeable. Most of staff was very friendly, would go back.

I never heard a response from a doctor today that was incredible. I have been seeing Dr Fahey for 5 years and today I am told by his nurse , take Urloic and don't come back as we don't need to see you. Can you imagine that, that is one bad doctor
