wonderful office and amazing doctor

I have been with Dr. Gilin since he took over the practice and I would not go anywhere else. He demonstrates genuine concern, patiently answers all my questions, has helped me through all my issues, and provides encouragement to adopt a more healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise. I think he is exceptional.

Exceptionally gifted physician with an exceptional doctor to client personality! Bar non a very good, if not a great physician!

Dr Gilin is friendly, professional, and courteous. He takes time to review and advise, and answer any questions you may have about your care, including procedures or medications he recommends.

Been with Dr Gilin since he took over practice for Dr Damm. He delivered all 3 of my kids and sees them all still. An amazing doctor and cares about ALL his patients.

DrGilin has been my primary physician ever since taking over Dr Damm’s practice 20 plus years ago. I find him genuinely concerned about his patience. I have had a few major health issues in the last few years and thank goodness he was my doctor. I have always found his staff most helpful but I have to admit it is sometimes difficult getting hold of the office..

My worst experience with a doctor in my life. I was in the hospital off and on for over a week and he didn't need show any compassion. I called him when I got out to schedule a follow up and his nurse called back to tell me there was no need. She didn't ask how I was doing or if I was having new symptoms. She just said there was no need for a follow up after 5 days in the hospital

There has ALOT of comments about his staff. Well everyone needs to be more specific.. Front desk check in is for all the doctors his reception that answers the phone represents him and his represents him. Far as staffing he has the best nurse caring understanding and knows what she I'd doing..the rest of the staff I can understand.

I would certainly recommend Dr Gilin, however, the office is horrible. Everything from the staff to the decor is VERY unprofessional. Dr Gilins staff is not a good representation of him at all and I wish he could get better, more professional help in his employ.

My poor recommendation has to do with the staff and inefficiency of the office in general. In order to make an appointment you call and leave a message then wait for a call back. If it is an emergency I should NOT be waiting for a call back. There are multiple doctors in the practice but no one person can schedule appointments for all doctors as other practices are. I don't have problem with Dr. Gilin at all but due to the inefficiency of his office we have left the practice

I first met Dr Gilin when he was a new Resident at the old St. Joseph Hospital in Flint. As an RN I was so impressed with his thorough and compassionate care of my patients, that I decided if he ever went into practice in this area, I would find him. I have been a patient of his for many years now, and would never go elsewhere. He is an excellent clinician, and cares for his patients in the way that you would want a parent cared for.

Dr. Gilin seems like a decent doctor until you question his staff's ability to do their job. I had concerns regarding an issue and when I left a voicemail - a necessity because they never answer the phone - I was suddenly treated with zero respect and told that I needed to find a new doctor. Three weeks later, I received a letter telling me that I frequently complained about his practice. This couldn't have been further from the truth. Dr. Gilin obviously has no regard for the oath. Horrible doc
